  • Publication number: 20110266361
Abstract: The present invention relates to a pheromone dispenser, filled with pheromone or a pheromone-comprising liquid and comprising (a) a deep-drawn plastic film made of a thermoplastic film material and featuring at least one dish-shaped zone for receiving a pheromone, and a planar plastic film made of a thermoplastic film material and which is connected with the deep-drawn plastic film, the planar plastic film together with the at least one dish-shaped zone of the deep-drawn plastic film forming a durably sealed chamber which comprises the pheromone or the pheromone-comprising liquid, and (c) a recess in the zone of the interconnected plastic films, the planar plastic film being permeable to the pheromone. The invention also relates to a process for producing such a pheromone dispenser.

  • Publication number: 20040145199
Abstract: An apparatus for gripping a substantially flat object by means of vacuum forces, the apparatus comprising, a recessed portion, the outer shape of said recess portion adapted to receive the outer edge of the disk object, at least one air intake opening in the recessed portion, and a substantially V-shaped groove in the recessed portion arranged perpendicular to the flat plane of the disk object and differing from the edge of the disk object thereby forming a streaming channel when the disk object is in close proximity to the gripping apparatus such that when air is drawn into the one or more air intake openings, an attraction force is generated to draw the disk object into the gripping apparatus.

  • Patent number: 5063464
Abstract: The present invention relates to a magnetic head suspension in a magnetic disk storage with a record carrier moved relative to the magnetic head and separated therefrom by an air cushion. The head suspension assembly with suspension arm 3, flexure 19 and slider 30 is fixed to an arm portion 1 at a point where arm portion 1 is provided with a ramp 2. This ramp eliminates prebiasing the suspension arm 3. The free end of the suspension arm 3 is provided with a raised portion 5. The elements 25, 26 fixing the tongue 27 to the flexure 19, in particular the bracket 25 with the attached tongue 27 on which the slider 30 is arranged, are substantially recessed in the raised portion 5 of the suspension arm 3. As a result, there is a noticeably reduced overall height.
