  • Patent number: 6145859
Abstract: A hydro-pneumatic axle spring suspension system for the driven axle of an agricultural utility vehicle, in particular for the front axle of an agricultural tractor, is described, which contains at least one hydraulic cylinder arranged between the vehicle chassis and axle body. The rod end chamber and the piston end chamber of the hydraulic cylinder are each connected with at least one accumulator. Furthermore a valve circuit supplied by a hydraulic pump is provided for the control of the level, which controls the pressure of the accumulators as a function of the load on the axle body.To improve the operating and spring characteristics of the utility vehicle it is proposed that the mechanical and hydraulic components be designed for a spring suspension under maximum load of the axle body.

  • Patent number: 5560352
Abstract: In an anesthesia protocol system, vital parameters and medication quantities are stored in a first data base in the form of real time curve signal values, said first data base being organized like a ring buffer. Typically, trend curve signal values are derived from the stored real time curve signal values, and an anesthesia protocol is produced automatically on the basis of these trend curve signal values. In order to simplify the operability of the anesthesia protocol system and to enhance the information content of the anesthesia protocol, a snapshot input device for activating a snapshot function is provided, a processing unit responding to the actuation of said snapshot input device for reading from the first data base the real time curve signal values which are assigned to a specific snapshot time domain and for storing them in the second data base as snapshot curve signal values, said second data base being not organized in the form of a ring buffer.

  • Patent number: 5538006
Abstract: Vital parameters of patient and medication parameters are automatically combined to form anesthetic protocols. A multi-step configuration method facilitates anesthesia protocol system reconfiguration. All the groups which may be taken into account for a possible future reproduction of the anesthesia protocol are first defined by combining parameters to form a group. A configuration name is assigned to each group. In a subsequent step, each anesthesia protocol segment has one of the groups assigned to it. The steps of forming the groups and assigning the groups to segments are repeated for each configuration. In a subsequent on-line mode of the anesthesia protocol system, the operator reconfigures the system by using the configuration name.

  • Patent number: 4456065
Abstract: In a section of an oil field a first and only bore hole (5) is drilled through the strata (3) carrying heavy oil until the underlying stratum (4) void of heavy oil and enlarged to a cavern-like collection chamber (9). Around this first bore hole (5) a plurality of second bore holes (6) are drilled through the strata (3) carrying heavy oil to the stratum (4) in a pattern comprising several circles. A further pattern of third bore holes (7) is drilled also in a circle-like pattern through the strata (5) carrying heavy oil, which third bore holes (7) are followed by drainage channels (8), which extend to the collecting chamber (9). By means of electrodes arranged in the second bore holes (6) the heavy oil strata are preheated and thereafter steam is injected through the same bore holes (6) in order to drive flowable heavy oil against the third bore holes (7).
