  • Publication number: 20090187271
Abstract: A method for not having to permanently relinquish prohibited items or products objected to at security controls. The prohibited items are instead provided with an identifying means, placed in a collecting container and stored by a storage service. The person participating in the system can, via the obtained identifying means, later claim the stored item at the storage service by way of the Internet and arrange for dispatch to an address to be indicated.

  • Patent number: 5121088
Abstract: A frequency response equalizer, particularly for wideband networks, whose purpose is to reduce the influence of parasitic capacitances on the frequency behavior, includes the series arrangement of a first coil, a capacitor, a resistor and a second coil, in parallel with a series resistor, in which series arrangement the coils constitute a bifilarly wound transformer. The transformer includes two main inductances and two leakage sub-inductances, in series with the resistor and the capacitor, being arranged in parallel with the series resistor as an active series resonant circuit.

  • Patent number: 4917407
Abstract: A plastic housing cover for a valve having an integral connector nozzle part provided with a metal threaded nipple element is proposed, in which it is assured that the threaded element, inserted in a sealing manner into the plastic, cannot destroy the tight connection with the plastic part during the twisting of insertion and possible twisting on the part of the threaded element itself. The threaded element is accordingly given an opportunity at the outset to rotate, while maintaining the tightness of the seal. The threaded nipple element is preferably a hollow threaded connector and the plastic part comprises a cover of a compressed air valve, especially a brake valve.

  • Patent number: 4194235
Abstract: A beam-tilting device for headlights of a motor vehicle in which pneumatic modulators respond to the degree of chassis loading, i.e. to the degree of vehicle spring compression and admit pressurized air or vacuum to one or the other side of a differential pressure servo mechanism which tilts the headlights in proportion to the differential load. In order to prevent unnecessary operation of the tilting mechanism during daylight operation of the vehicle, there is provided a monitor shutoff valve which is energized by the headlight switch and which blocks the supply of air to the modulators when the headlights are inoperative, thereby reducing wear and noise.

  • Patent number: 4097174
Abstract: A milling cutter includes a housing having an annularly extending groove and a plurality of recesses therein. Interchangeable inserts, each having a curved edge are mounted in the recesses with the curved edges resting in the annularly extending groove. At least one cutting element is mounted in each insert. The inserts are held in the recesses by clamping.
