  • Patent number: 5092736
Abstract: A pump arrangement for a transmission in which an integrated pump rotates with a common drive shaft (6) having a free end, supported via a shaft bearing (8), carrying a connection part (12) for accommodating a power take off shaft (14), the connection part is provided with a spline or wedge arrangement for driving both the power take off shaft (14), when attached thereto, and a pump rotor (16) of the integrated pump, a pump stator (3) is snugly positioned in a housing wall opening (2) and is provided with a bearing neck (7) supporting the shaft bearing (8), a fed inlet and a discharge outlet for the pump stator are provided in a housing wall (1) and a housing cover (19), which has a central opening (21) accommodating the connection part (12), covers a face of the pump stator adjacent the take off side.

  • Patent number: 4245519
Abstract: A transmission of the multispeed reversible type, shiftable under load (i.e. having continuously engaging gears establishing the several speeds) comprising a one-piece housing formed with a window large enough to permit the various speed-determining gears and clutches to be introduced and closed by a cover in which the input shaft is journaled. The speed-determining gears and clutches are mounted for rotation upon fixed shafts which are held against rotation and span opposite walls of the housing. Each of the fixed shafts has a flange on one end thereof which is bolted to the housing upon insertion of the shaft through an opening on the side of the housing provided with the flange.

  • Patent number: 4145935
Abstract: A multispeed reversible transmission shiftable under load having fixed rotation axes for a plurality of gears and respective clutches. The basic structure of the transmission comprises an input gear which forms a gear train for second and third gears each of which is rotatable upon one of the aforementioned fixed axes and is connected by a respective direction clutch (forward or reverse clutch) with fourth and fifth gears also rotatable upon the respective fixed axes and meshing with one another. These fourth and fifth gears are connected by first and second speed-changing clutches with sixth and seventh gears, respectively, locatable about the first and second fixed axes, an eighth gear being connected to the seventh gear and rotatable about the second fixed axis. The ninth gear meshes with the eighth gear and is rotatable about the third fixed axis and is connectible via the third speed-changing clutch with the tenth gear which meshes with the fifth gear but is rotatable about the third fixed axis.

  • Patent number: 4138168
Abstract: An axial securing assembly for a rolling bearing in which the outer race is received in an undivided housing or housing cover and surrounds an array of bearing balls or rollers relative to which the inner race is rotatable. According to the invention, the housing is formed with a cylindrical bore in which the outer race is received and the outer race is provided with an outwardly open circumferential groove in which a spring ring is partly received. The spring ring extends radially outwardly into an inwardly open groove formed in the cylindrical wall of the housing and the latter is provided with a radial depth equal to or greater than the radial width of the spring ring. Along the periphery of the bearing bore formed in this housing, there is provided at least one recess affording axial access to the ends of the spring ring so that the mounting tool can be inserted into the spring ring to spread the latter apart and permit the spring ring to engage in the outwardly open groove of the outer race.
