  • Patent number: 7381447
Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for preparing composite textile and composite textile obtainable by this process as well as the use of said composite textile for automotive applications among other things. Said process comprises the following steps: (a) applying a foamed polymer dispersion onto a suede-like textile substrate; (b) drying the composite material of polymer foam and substrate; (c) compacting the polymer foam with the substrate; and (d) heat-treating and/or cross-linking the polymer foam. The composite textile is characterised by a suede-like textile substrate and a polymer foam layer.

  • Publication number: 20070054578
Abstract: The invention relates to a textile product in which a three-dimensional pattern is applied on a textile substrate having a certain abrasion resistance, whereby the three-dimensional pattern covers at least 15% of the area of the textile substrate, so that the abrasion resistance of the textile product lies beyond the abrasion resistance of the textile substrate. As a consequence, the abrasion resistance of a textile substrate can be improved by a process in which a textile substrate web having a certain abrasion resistance is provided and a three-dimensional pattern covering at least 15% of the area of the textile substrate web is applied thereupon.

  • Publication number: 20060257619
Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for preparing a printed synthetic suede leather, a printed synthetic suede leather obtainable by said process and the use of said synthetic suede leather as a cover in automotive and furniture applications or as outer garments. The process comprises the steps of (a) foaming a composition comprising an aqueous polyurethane dispersion; (b) applying the foamed composition to a printed textile substrate composed of a yarn; (c) coagulating the polyurethane dispersion; (d) drying; and (e) condensation.

  • Patent number: 4365424
Abstract: An endless textile web is processed by passing it through an elongated tubular member defining a treatment zone which is disposed within a chamber. A jet of treatment air is directed against the web near the inlet end of the zone, the jet being directed away from the inlet end to convey the web and cause it to expand and flutter as it moves. Air filtering, treating and blowing steps are included.

A jet of treatment air is directed against the web near the inlet end of the zone, the jet being directed away from the inlet end to convey the web and cause it to expand and flutter as it moves. An apparatus is disclosed in which tubular member is bent into a sinous shape. Air filtering, treating and blowing apparatus are included.
