    Abstract: Water can be transported and/or treated using a system or container in which a collapsible framework is attached to a membrane. A collapsible water container defining a volume for receiving, transporting, and delivering water can include: a membrane of material substantially impermeable to water, the membrane having a substantially cylindrical expanded configuration with a central axis and substantially contracted configuration; wherein the membrane configured to rotatably expand about the axis when water is placed within the volume defined by the collapsible water container and rotatably contract about the axis when water is removed from the volume defined by the collapsible water container.
