Abstract: An apparatus for supporting a weapon system upon a combat vehicle, at which vehicle the weapon system is arranged upon a platform and is mounted to be rotatable about an essentially vertical axis. Between the chassis frame of the vehicle and the platform there is arranged an intermediate frame which is operatively connected, with the chassis frame, by means of three support devices arranged in spaced relationship from one another. The intermediate frame, together with the platform carrying the weapon system, viewed in the direction of travel of the vehicle, can be lowered and/or raised in relation to the chassis frame at least at one side. The individual support devices of the three point-support arrangement are structured for handling angular and displacement movements.
