Abstract: A pack for tablet-like objects, such as hygroscopic laundry/dishwasher detergent tablets, for example, includes a dual packing configuration of a closed outer pack containing a plurality of individual film bags, with each of the individual film bags being closed at opposing ends by a transverse seam, and along their lengths by a longitudinal seam. Each of the individual film bags enclose at least one tablet. The individual film bags are inserted into the outer pack with the longitudinal seams of the film bags aligned parallel to one another, and with the sidewalls of the outer pack parallel to the longitudinal seams of the film bags. The longitudinal seams of the film bags are reinforced.

Abstract: A process for filling a non-self-supporting pack with cylindrical, pellet-like products by introducing into a pack closely surrounding at least one multiple-row layer of the products in such a manner that the products are arranged beside and above one another in linear contact with one another at their cylindrical surfaces and are arranged closely adjacent one another in the pack so that they fit exactly into the pack, are self-supporting, and disperse a pressure applied externally to the pack through the cylindrical surfaces of the products. The pack is brought into a transportation position wherein the products are in an upright position. A pack unit of the products is also disclosed.

Abstract: When used in a washing machine, a particulate detergent packed in portions in a flexible bag of a flat, water-permeable textile material leads to an improved detergency performance and/or saving of detergent by comparison with the conventional addition of detergent via the dispensing compartment of the washing machine if the bag material satisfies certain criteria in regard to the nature of the fibers used for its production and, optionally, the permeability to air and the adsorption capacity of the bag material, the geometric dimensions of the bag and its filling level.

Abstract: Soiled textile articles are washed by the addition of a determined amount of a detergent concentrate containing surfactants to the textile articles to be cleaned while the textiles are dry or only damp. The aqueous washing liquor is formed by the gradual addition of water to the textile articles while they are rotated. At room temperature, the detergent concentrate is to a substantial extent a paste-to dough-like substance, stable in form, and is applied to the textile articles in such an amount that the major portion of the surfactants together with further detergent constituents, if desired, are applied to the textiles or on an article of textile provided with markings for the correct detergent dose, as a dosing aid.

Abstract: A dispenser includes a first receptacle enclosing a second receptacle, for storing and providing substantially simultaneous dispensing of free-flowing and pourable substances, respectively. A dosing element is included in the second receptacle for limiting to a predetermined amount or dose the amount of pourable substance dispensed in each dispensing cycle.

Abstract: A folding box with an integrated dispenser and pouring opening for powder products and granulates to provide for uniform dispensing, even during the first dispensing process, and to be made in one piece on erection of the folding box from a flat box blank. The dispenser has a dispensing duct wall which extends over the entire width of the pouring side wall transversely of the pouring opening and which is cut below the height of the pouring opening and displaced parallel into the interior of the box to form a wall of the dispensing chamber. The wall of the dispensing chamber is fixed at the base of the dispensing chamber by means of a pressure tongue secured to the pouring side wall.

Abstract: A detergent supply pack for supplying a shaped detergent solid to a dishwashing apparatus comprising a container for the detergent solid and a shaped detergent solid cast-molded therein, said container simultaneously functioning as a mold for the cast-molded detergent, as a container for the detergent solid during storage and shipping, and as improved handling means for handling the detergent for storing and shipping and for introducing the detergent into the dishwashing apparatus.
