  • Patent number: 4459127
Abstract: A process for the manufacture of a folding box tube from a folding box form for dispensing articles, such as a cardboard box construction for dispensing pocket handkerchiefs, napkins, or the like, forming a box of a rectangular shape with a rectangular cross-section consisting essentially of one piece of rigid, but foldable, material adapted to be folded to give five surfaces and end closure pieces, the first and fifth surfaces, said process consisting essentially of preparing said folding box form by die cutting, folding said folding flap inwards along a folding line parallel to the bottom surface of said box when formed, folding the five surfaces to form a folding box tube and fastening the first and fifth surfaces together, wherein said folding flap at its outer extension touches the bottom surface of said folding box tube when folded, forming an overlap adapted to be fastened together to form a front surface of said box, a perforated area in said front surface adapted to be opened to the interior of the f

  • Patent number: 4256231
Abstract: A container comprising a non-deformable shell under ordinary stresses made from at least two cooperating parts which together constitute said shell, said shell being lined internally with and thermoplastically fused with a lining made of a liquid-impermeable thermoplastic material and a method of making said container, comprising(a) introducing at least two cooperating parts which together constitute a non-deformable shell under ordinary stresses into molding tool members which each have a contour corresponding to at least a portion of the outer surface of each part of the shell,(b) bringing the parts together,(c) applying a substantially even film of thermoplastic material at an elevated temperature and in an at least plastic state to the inner surface of the parts to produce on the internal surface of the wall of the shell a lining, which is liquid-impermeable and thermoplastically fused to the shell when the container is at ambient temperature, and(d) removing the container from the molding tool members.

  • Patent number: 4167594
Abstract: A laundry finishing treatment article for use in a mechanical laundry drier to treat fabrics with a substance of the laundry finishing type and a laundry odorant, the article comprising a hollow bag of two-layer composite sheeting having a pillowlike form closed on all sides, the external layer of said two-layer composite sheeting being an open-celled absorbent layer containing an amount effective to treat said fabrics of the substance, which substance is substantially solid at room temperature and softened or liquefied at elevated drier temperatures to enable a transfer of the substance to the laundry during the drying thereof, and the internal layer of the two-layer composite sheeting being a plastic film substantially gas-impermeable at room temperature and gas-permeable to the odorant at elevated drier temperatures, the film enclosing an effective amount of the odorant; as well as the process for after-treating laundry in a drier in which the above laundry finishing treatment article is introduced into a
