  • Publication number: 20090126712
Abstract: A stone saw blade (1) includes an elongated base body (2) and a plurality of teeth (3). The teeth (3) are designed and arranged to be unset and to include geometrically defined cutting portions (11). The teeth (3) include a form body (4) being connected to the base body (2). The form body (4) includes a carrier (21) being made of hard metal and a layer (5) forming the cutting portion (11). The layer (5) has a hardness of at least 5,000 HK.

  • Publication number: 20090126205
Abstract: A saw blade (1) includes a base body (2) and a plurality of teeth (3). The base body (2) defines a longitudinal center plane (14). The teeth (3) are designed and arranged to be unset and to be symmetric with respect to the longitudinal center plane (14). The teeth (3) are designed and arranged to form at least one group of teeth (3) on the base body (2). The at least one group of teeth (3) is repeated on the base body (2). The group of teeth (3) includes at least a first tooth (31) and a second tooth (32). The first tooth (31) includes a first cutting edge (101) being designed and arranged such that at least a portion of the first cutting edge (101) is designed to be rounded and to have at least one first radius (181). The second tooth (32) includes a second cutting edge (102) being designed and arranged such that at least a portion of the second cutting edge (102) is designed to be rounded and to have at least one second radius (182). The second radius (182) is different than the first radius (181).

  • Publication number: 20070163392
Abstract: A saw blade (15) includes a body (16) and a plurality of teeth (1). The teeth (1) include a cutting portion (2) of a geometrically defined shape and including a cutting edge (3). The cutting portion (2) includes a wearing protection layer (7) which covers the cutting edge (3). The cutting edge (3) has an edge radius (4) between approximately 0.005 mm and 0.045 mm relating to a condition of the cutting portion (2) without the wearing protection layer (7). Preferably, the wearing protection layer (7) is made of a hard material, especially TiN, TiCN, TiAlN, CrN or DLC.
