    Abstract: The invention relates to an industrial washing plant with at least one treatment chamber for washing objects that are dirtied with oily, greasy, or other processing residues and are treated with treatment media that require process heat for heating active washing fluids, rinsing fluids, for example, pure water or air for drying in an air flow, in order to improve the treatment result. A washing-fluid tank and a rinsing-fluid tank can be provided, and these tanks will supply the treatment chambers by means of electrical devices. Further, nearly pure fluid can be recovered from used washing fluid or rinsing fluid by distillation by means of an evaporator and re-introduced into a treatment medium. The object of the invention consists of creating an industrial washing plant that is designed in such a way that its overall operation leads to an improvement of economical and ecological balances.

    Abstract: The invention relates to an industrial cleaning facility comprising at least one treatment chamber (8) which can be put in an open position or a closed position (operating position). To ensure that the treatment chamber (8) can be loaded and unloaded without difficulty and to permit easy adaptation to a discontinuous production line (2; 3), the treatment chamber is divided up and consists of at least one lower part (13) and at least one upper part (26). The lower parts (13) can be fixed to a rotating column (9) having several arms and the upper parts (26) can be fixed to immovable holding posts (7) and be height-adjustable. In holding stations (7) the upper parts (26) and the lower parts (13) can be connected by means of lifting devices (38) and moved into the operating position.

    Abstract: Apparatus for spinning yarn from roving including a spinning frame with spinning units arranged thereon. The roving to be drawn is fed from a common double-roving bobbin to each of two neighboring spinning units, further referred to as spinning units pair. At least one stopping device is assigned to each of the spinning units of the spinning units pair, to stop and release again the roving feed to the two drawing frames of the respective spinning units pair. The purpose of the stopping device is to reduce the loss of roving and to avoid the danger of yarn lapping on the drawing rollers. The stopping device can be actuated by each of two yarn break sensors of the spinning units pair for the simultaneous arrest of the roving. In a second embodiment a yarn-setting carriage is provided on the spinning frame to correct a yarn break, such correction occuring only when all correction hindering conditions are absent.

For each workstation whether or not it is registered as dead or not is tested. Then, each time a yarn starting carriage arrives at it, whether or not a yarn break is present at it is also tested. In case the workstation involved is registered as dead that registration as "dead" is then erased when no yarn break is present at that workstation.

A simulated signal for "Yarn Running" is conductable to a stopping device for test purposes and/or the yarn break sensing device can be disconnected from the stopping device and from time to time a connecting signal is produced which reconnects the yarn break device to the associated stop device.

    Abstract: Controlling the stop of the feed of roving in a spinning machine in which yarn is wound on spindles through travelers rotating on rings and in which a stop motion is actuated to stop the feed of the roving to drafting rolls in response to detecting a yarn break and is subsequently deactuated to permit roving feed during a yarn break repair operation. The stop motion includes an arcuate stop member rotatably mounted on one of the drafting rolls for rotation into disposition between opposing rolls to separate the rolls and stop roving feed, with the stop member having a projecting cam engaging in a recess in a slide member that is manipulated by a spring and electromagnetic device to control manipulation of the stop member.

    Abstract: Roving or sliver clamping device at the drafting unit of a spinning machine, with a clamp segment which enters in the operative position between the upper inlet roller and the lower inlet roller of the drafting unit, and which clamp segment raises the upper inlet roller from the lower inlet roller, and clamps the roving or sliver against the upper inlet roller, whereby the clamp segment is acted upon by an actuating element which causes its roving or sliver-clamping position, and the clamp segment is maintained in the position in which the roving or sliver clamping device is at rest by a holding element. The holding element includes means for storing energy and it positively counteracts the actuating element.
