  • Publication number: 20260010543
Abstract: Artificial Intelligence-assisted building/execution of federated data layer for enterprise engineering: A system trains at least one machine-learning model to identify information about industrial assets from training data, then map the information to a federated data model. The system retrieves information about data from an application in an industrial asset. The at least one machine-learning model identifies types of the data, relationships between the data, and patterns of the data, from the information and based on data types, data relationships, and data patterns in the federated data model. The at least one machine-learning model maps the types of the data, the relationships between the data, and the patterns of the data to the federated data model. The system identifies knowledge about the types of the data, the relationships between the data, and/or the patterns of the data in the federated data model, in response to a query about data.

  • Publication number: 20060190155
Abstract: An arrangement for controlling a vehicle engine or transmission includes a control device arranged remotely from the engine/transmission (which provides the open-loop and closed-loop control algorithms), and a unit which is attached to the engine/transmission, and which is electrically connected directly to a plurality of sensors and/or actuators. The unit has an A/D converter for converting sensor signals into digital sensor signals, which are then converted into data bus signals by a data bus transceiver unit, for communication via a data bus between the unit and the control device. A uniform sensor/actuator interface is provided, with a plurality of parallel connections for the sensors/actuators and a connection for the data bus. A signal converter converts the sensor signals directly into the data bus signals in accordance with an open-loop/closed-loop control algorithm without the intermediate connection of a calculating means.

  • Patent number: 6780962
Abstract: Described are methacrylate or acrylate binders e.g. obtainable by the steps of (i) generating OH-precursors from at least one aromatic polyester, and (ii) reacting said OH-precursors of step (i) with methacrylic acid and/or acrylic acid to form a respective ester, whereby step (i) comprises reacting an aromatic polyester, or a mixture of aromatic polyesters with at least one polyol and/or at least one aminopolyol to generate hydroxy terminated oligomers. Optionally, a modified product can be obtained by performing a further reaction in step (i), namely by reacting said hydroxy terminated oligomer with at least one polycarboxylic acid and/or at least one polycarboxylic anhydride to generate said hydroxy terminated binder precursor oligomer.

  • Patent number: 5507240
Abstract: A folding stamp for folding sewing parts which are to be attached to a main sewing part, in a sewing system for making pockets in articles of clothing. The additional sewing parts, such as flaps or pocket-bag blanks, can be fed manually. This folding stamp has a fastening unit arranged on an upwardly and rearwardly extending extension formed on a vertical web. The fastening unit thereby extends above a resting surface on top of the web and in the direction toward the rear end of the folding stamp. The folding stamp is thereby arcuate or C-shaped in longitudinal cross-section, which gives it a compact construction and gives the operator an unimpeded view of the region in which he must feed the additional sewing parts.

  • Patent number: 5085158
Abstract: A sewing machine, having a device for centrally cutting a piping strip at both of its ends. At least one knife is arranged in a piping strip gripper between the parallel rows of oblique gripping needles. Before the start of the sewing process, a piping strip which has been placed at a predetermined position on a resting plate is held clamped between said plate and the gripper, which is lowered onto the resting plate. By actuation of the knife by an external force such as a pressure fluid, a blade of the knife penetrates into the piping strip and, by horizontal displacement of the knife, the piping strip is incised centrally at its end. Preferably there is a blade for each end of the piping strip.

  • Patent number: 4997507
Abstract: An apparatus and method for bonding laminar workpieces has a feed station, a heating and pressing station with two heating zones, and a delivery station with a cooling zone. A lower conveyor belt is driven through the feed station and the heating and pressing station. An upper conveyor belt is driven through the heating and pressing station, and is mounted a sufficient distance above the lower conveyor belt to carry the workpieces therebetween. Pressing rollers are mounted in the heating and pressing station for pressing the heated workpieces moving therethrough. The adhesive between the laminations of the workpieces is heat-activated in the heating zones of the workpieces is heat-activated in the heating zones to bond the laminations of the workpieces. The heated and pressed workpieces are then moved by conveyor belts through a cooling zone to resolidify the adhesive between the laminations of the workpieces.
