  • Patent number: 5538208
Abstract: A single or twin spacer mounting permits the rapid and efficient installation of elongated elements for example in an aircraft. Such elements include, for example, electrical cable bundles, pipes, hoses, cables and the like, whereby these elongated elements must be maintained at a precise spacing from one another and/or from a support. Additionally, the elongated elements may need to be arranged at an angle relative to each other. For this purpose, substantially identical interlocking spacer mounting members are used. Each spacer mounting member has a saddle to which the elongated element is secured, for example, by a cable binder or hose clamp. The saddle is connected to an interlocking section that either includes a female plug-in socket or a male plug. In another embodiment interlocking pins with locking heads are used to hold two identical spacer mounting members to each other.

  • Patent number: 5388790
Abstract: Electrical conductors of a wiring system in an aircraft are mounted on a guide and support frame of modular structure. The frame is mounted on a structural air frame of the air-craft. Frames of different sizes may be assembled of tubular components and interlocking elements that have stubs that fit into open ends of the tubular components. The interlocking elements and the tubular components are made of electrically insulating materials such as thermoplastic materials. The stubs have wedge-shaped pockets or notches for holding an adhesive.

  • Patent number: 5243138
Abstract: A plurality of individual electrical conductors are held together in a bundle to form a power supply cable, for example, for installation in an aircraft. For this purpose a conductor securing device has a disk divided into two half disk sections interconnected by a snap-on connection. Each half disk section has outer elements for holding individual conductors and a bow-shaped shell located centrally inwardly so that two shells of two interconnected half disk sections hold at least one further electrical conductor between the shells. Each shell extends with a shell extension laterally and axially out of its half disk section and the shell extension has as a shoulder for axially retaining a strapping belt.
