    Abstract: A sinusoidal synthesizer is shown which produces a sinusoidal AC power output from a modulated pulse train. The pulse train is modulated by two independent feedback loops which each use the sinusoidal output as its reference. The first loop controls output voltage by a high gain negative feedback signal to a pulse width modulator, while the second loop shapes the sinusoidal output by a less than unity gain, positive feedback signal to a second pulse width modulator.
