  • Patent number: 11597610
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for transferring an item to be transported from an end portion of a flow storage system to a removal device, comprising the steps of: using an end stop arranged in a shut-off position for retaining at least one first item to be transported on the end portion of the flow storage system and/or using a separator arranged in the shut-off position to retain at least one second item to be transported on a retaining section of the flow storage system; arranging the removal device adjacent to the end portion of the flow storage system in a removal position; using at least one sensor of the removal device for checking whether the end stop and/or the separator is arranged in a shut-off position and transferring the first item to be transported from the end portion to the removal device.

  • Publication number: 20220402704
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for transferring an item to be transported (10; 11; 12) from an end portion (2) of a flow storage system (1) to a removal device (20), comprising the steps of: using an end stop (4) arranged in the shut-off position for retaining at least one first item to be transported (10) on the end portion (2) of the flow storage system (1) and/or using a separator (5) arranged in the shut-off position to retain at least one second item to be transported (11) on a retaining section (3) of the flow storage system (1); arranging (100) the removal device (20) adjacent to the end portion (2) of the flow storage system (1) in a removal position; using at least one sensor (21) of the removal device (20) for checking (101; 111) whether the end stop (4) and/or the separator (5) is arranged in its respective shut-off position; and transferring (104) the first item to be transported (10) from the end portion (2) to the removal device (20).

  • Patent number: 6644054
Abstract: A method and a device for operating a refrigerant system in an air conditioning unit for an automobile, in which air flowing through an evaporator is cooled via a refrigerant, the delivery rate of which is set by means of a compressor operated by a drive. The speed of the drive, operated independently of the automobile engine, is determined as a function of a suction pressure to be set on the compressor, thereby providing optimal energy consumption by the system.

  • Patent number: 4941342
Abstract: A multi-ram forging assembly has a piston-cylinder unit for driving each ram carrying a forging tool wherein at least two diametrically opposed forging unit simultaneously act on a workpiece. Each piston-cylinder unit comprises a pressurized inlet chamber for containing a hydraulic pressure fluid at a predetermined pressure behind a piston movably disposed in the cylinder. The piston includes a front-end ram carrying a forging tool. A valve including a valve seat member is disposed on the piston at a rear side opposite to the front-end ram. A valve cone cooperates with the valve seat member to provide a closed position and an open position for the valve. An actuator is connected to move the valve cone between the closed and open positions. The piston includes a passage bore extending from the valve seat member to a pressure fluid discharge chamber connected to a hydraulic pressure fluid reservoir container providing a pressureless discharge of the pressure fluid medium.

  • Patent number: 4680952
Abstract: A process for the production and further processing of strands for Bowden cables of several wires stranded together by twisting, comprising dressing the strands after stranding between reversing rolls, subsequently stretching and again dressing between reversing rolls. Dressing is effected prior to stretching in several stages with decreasing bending radii and after the stretching again in several stages with increasing bending radii, while the stretching is performed with a force approximately within the area of the elastic limit, corresponding to 45% to 70%, preferably to 55% and 65% of the ultimate tensile strength of the strand.

  • Patent number: 4606217
Abstract: The invention is a shifting mechanism for a screw press. The screw press includes a shifting coupling for the press spindle, a drive mechanism for continuously rotating a flywheel, a coupling mechanism operatively located between the flywheel and the shifting mechanism which is dependent upon angular deceleration and is controlled for the purpose of actuating the coupling mechanism. The shifting mechanism comprises a hydraulically actuatable shifting coupling. A hydraulically prestressed valve is located between the reaction mass and a rotating coupling portion that is connected to the flywheel. The coupling mechanism is controlled through the use of a hydraulic line and the prestressed valve is affected by the hydraulic pressure medium in that line acting upon the coupling mechanism.

  • Patent number: 4447689
Abstract: A rocker switch comprises a contact spring in the shape of a loop, supported against a pivot member. The spring has a catch in the free end of the loop. The contact spring can be pivoted by means of a rocker lever into its open or closed position. The rocker lever is mounted on a roll provided with two additional cams in the form of a rocker. By means of an elastic switching arm arranged on the slide, the rocker is actuated by overrunning, thereby effecting the pivoting of the end support cam over the pivot member. This in turn yields movement of the contact springs into their open or closed positions. The contact springs may be arranged in series adjacently to each other and/or on a common axis successively to each other with their loop openings in the same or in opposing directions.
