  • Patent number: 10697691
Abstract: The invention relates to a domestic appliance, in particular a domestic refrigeration appliance, comprising a compressor having compressor feet, which is supported on a support rail by way of elastic damping bodies that are arranged in openings of the compressor feet, and which is held thereto by way of the damping bodies by bottom-penetrating retaining tabs having securing portions engaging the damping bodies from behind. In order to allow a simple and economical installation of the compressor, which nonetheless results in a permanently secure retention of the compressor, end portions of the retaining tabs extending beyond the damping bodies, according to the invention, have insertion means, which are designed in such a way that the compressor is mounted, or can be mounted, without a plastic deformation of the retaining tabs.

  • Patent number: 6666129
Abstract: The invention relates to an operating device for a rotatable closing element of a valve such that, a desired angle of rotation can easily be set and maintained. This is achieved in that two guide grooves (2f), which are incorporated diametrically opposite each other, are bounded on all sides by a piston shank (2b), in that their respective courses are precisely or more or less symmetrical at all points, in that in each instance the courses have, in relation to the axis of the piston (2), a greater pitch angle in a central portion (angle b) than in their two portions on the end side (angle a) (a>b), and in that the stroke of the piston (2) is limited on one side by application of the front-end piston shank (2b) to the cover element (4) and on the other side by application of a piston base (2a) to a stop element (9; 20; 20.

  • Patent number: 6412306
Abstract: A process for producing composite bodies from a plurality of molded pieces made from quartz materials of different or identical structure, preferably fused quartz and/or fused silica. Also, composite bodies produced according to this process. A prismatic molded piece with a rectangular bottom surface and top surface and four plate-shaped molded pieces whose dimensions are tailored to the outer surfaces of the prismatic molded piece are produced in a first step, the plate-shaped molded pieces are then fixed to the outer surfaces of the prismatic molded piece, the prismatic molded piece and the plate-shaped molded pieces are heated together under protective gas to a predetermined temperature T&egr; above the softening temperature of the quartz material and then cooled, resulting in a prismatic composite body which is joined thermally in a material engagement and which can be severed to form a series of plate-shaped composite bodies.

  • Patent number: 6328065
Abstract: In a proposed electromagnetic pressure regulating valve (10, 10a), the functional characteristics of a pressure regulating valve are combined with those of a switching valve. The pressure regulating valve (10, 10a) can be used in particular to control automatic transmissions in motor vehicles and is characterized by reduced manufacturing costs, reduced leakage and an operating range which is expanded for reduced operating pressures and with a continuous characteristic line. For this purpose, the valve part (11, 11a) of the pressure regulating valve (10, 10a) has a first seat valve (45) with a closing element (34). This closing element (34) cooperates with an actuating element (35, 35a) which has a control edge (50) to form a second seat valve (49).

  • Patent number: 5601398
Abstract: An assembly for feeding fuel form a supply tank to an internal combustion engine, with a feed pump which is designed as a flow pump and the disk-shaped impeller of which rotates in rotation in a cylindrical pump chamber delimited by a suction cover and by an intermediate housing bearing on the latter and at the same time feeds fuel from a suction port in a suction cover to a delivery port in the intermediate housing to enlarge the production tolerances of a fit between the suction cover (7) on the intermediate housing, and in order to allow the two pump components to lift off from one another during the operation of the feed pump in order to flush out dirt particles from the pump chamber, the suction cover and the intermediate housing are braced relative to one another by means of a resilient connecting element and the suction cover and intermediate housing are permitted to move relative to each other in order to flush dirt from an area of the pump impeller.

  • Patent number: 5551842
Abstract: A device for delivering fuel from a storage tank to the engine of a motor vehicle, having a two-stage feed pump driven to rotate by an electric drive motor. The preliminary stage of the feed pump is embodied as a side channel pump whose partially ring-shaped supply conduit has in its pump course a cross sectionally reduced region, which is constituted by means of a reduction of the conduit depth and in which the fuel flowing through the supply conduit is maintained at a constant pressure level so that the length of the supply conduit effective for a pressure increase can be reduced to achieve a quick increase of delivery pressure.
