  • Patent number: 8280531
Abstract: A method and computer program for the control of the heat treatment of batches of metal workpieces for increasing the degree of automation of industrial furnace plants presumes an identical batch layout, an identical treatment program, and an identical article geometry of metal workpieces and relates it to a model batch, which has been run using batch thermoelements. The model batch becomes the foundation for a new batch. Through the assumption of program parameters of the actually run process of the model batch into the program of the new batch to be run, new batch thermoelements are not required for the new batch to be run.

  • Patent number: 8175744
Abstract: In order to plan the performance of heat treatment of metal workpieces before the beginning of the heat treatment in the particular industrial furnace and perform it autonomously thereafter, the invention proposes a method and computer program and an apparatus having a computer (1) for the automatic preparation of technological formulas for the heat treatment, firstly loading parameters of a selected material of the metal workpiece and a formula structure template of a selected treatment method from a material databank (10) and providing data from a user interface and compiling a formula structure, then establishing the parameters of the metal workpiece, the compiled formula structure, and the data from the user interface as values of formula segments, from which the technological formula for heat treatment is finally generated, this technological formula being able to be readjusted, stored in a program databank (12), and retrieved for the heat treatment of metal workpieces in industrial furnaces (5)(FIG. 1).

  • Patent number: 6086122
Abstract: An attachment between the frame of a grating in a special-purpose vehicle, an armored vehicle for example, and the lengths of structural section that comprise the grating. The ends of the lengths of structural section are secured against displacement by a plate. When the lengths of structural section have a metal core and a non-metal sheath, the core or part of the core is attached to and can or cannot be detached from the frame by way of the plate. The plate is positioned against the surface of the frame component that faces away from the lengths and is provided with cutouts (6) that provide access to the core of each length and allow the introduction of means (5 or 8) of attachment.

  • Patent number: 5803212
Abstract: A grating system (1) with parallel lengths (5) of structural section is accommodated in a frame. It is intended for armored special-enough vehicles and or stationary units. The object is to optimize protection against a strike or impact. Energy absorbers are interposed between the system and the vehicle or unit that accommodates it.

  • Patent number: 5332054
Abstract: A connection between frame components (1) and the ends of parallel strips ( 3 ) of structural section in gratings ( 2 ) for special-purpose vehicles. The known connection is welded, and the welds do not withstand impact and abrasion as well as the rest of the material. To render the vicinity of the connection as resistant as the rest, the end of each strip is inserted in a matching aperture (4) in the frame component.

  • Patent number: 5037512
Abstract: A process for the purification of crude benzoic acid obtained by the catalytic oxidation of toluene in the liquid phase, which is contaminated with impurities including phthalic acid and benzylbenzoate, the process involves distilling the crude benzoic acid in a first distillation in the presence of an aliphatic amine or a mixture of aliphatic amines of the formulaHNR.sup.1 R.sup.2whereinR.sup.1 represents hydrogen or a straight-chain or branched hydroxyalkyl or aminoalkyl radical with 1 to 6 carbon atoms andR.sup.2 represents a straight-chain or branched hydroxyalkyl or aminoalkyl radical with 1 to 6 carbon atoms,and/or the salts of these amines, recovering from this distillation (a) a purified benzoic acid and (b) a benzylbenzoate containing residue, working up the residue by a second distillation and chlorinating the distillate resulting from this second distillation to give a benzoylchloride virtually free of benzonitrile.
