  • Publication number: 20090078837
Abstract: A brush holder which has a holder housing and at least one fastening lug projecting laterally from the holder housing. The fastening lug is provided with an upwardly directed bent portion and a return part extending as far as the outside of the holder housing.

  • Patent number: 6333580
Abstract: An axially movable protective sleeve is provided for the axial assembly of a rotor-side commutator onto a stator-side brush holder. The protective sleeve both protects against moisture and provides an axial assembly that is simple in production. The axially movable protective sleeve encircles a commutator, and initially secures brushes in a retention position for assembly and then releases the brushes to rest on a brush contact surface of the commutator, when the commutator is in its operational end position.

  • Patent number: 5291088
Abstract: A moisture-proof coupling, which is simple in design and easy to assemble, is disposed between a motor housing and a bearing plate, with the electrical leads running out through the moisture-proof coupling. The electrical leads are integrally molded in an insulated lead-insert, which can be inserted into an opening on the end face of the bearing plate. A circumferential sealing ring is molded on the insulated lead-insert. The sealing ring is injection-molded together with the lead-insert on a brush plate so that it can be pre-positioned and, when the motor is assembled, can be pressed between the motor housing and the bearing plate to form a seal. The brush plate can be fixed together with the lead-insert and the sealing ring in the bearing plate in the manner of a pre-assembled component.

  • Patent number: 5164625
Abstract: A motor connector line (2) leads to the outside from the brush plate (5) through a duct in the motor housing (1) in an electric motor, especially a commutator motor, to a supply and/or control line via a plug connector. In order to do so in a simple manner, the outer end of the motor connector line (2) is connected with a plastic connector fixed plug (4), which is held by a pot-shaped plastic cover cap (3), which is set onto one end of the motor housing (1) and can be fixed in place on the latter in its end operating position.

  • Patent number: 4914713
Abstract: In order to pick up in a simple manner which is reliable, and under rough operating conditions, a rotation of the rotor in a miniature motor excited by permanent magnets with magnet segments at a tangential distance with magnet segments distributed at the bore circumference of the stator, it is proposed to arrange in at least one pole gap between the magnet segment a measuring coil. A signal is induced by the pulsation of the stray field due to rotation of the rotor. The measuring coil is advantageously arranged in a non-magnetic, preferably plastic support body held between the individual poles or the magnet segments respectively.

  • Patent number: 4727274
Abstract: A brush assembly (2) with a plug housing (3) is inserted into an axial opening of a motor housing (1) so that interference suppression devices (5, 6) can be connected easily from a production point of view and the plug terminals and the brush apparatus can be protected against corrosive media. The plug housing is formed with pockets which hold the interference suppression devices and the plug terminals for easy assembly.

  • Patent number: 4420703
Abstract: A motor drive for a window lifter in motor vehicle doors has an integrated flat housing containing a permanent magnet DC motor and a worm gear driven by a worm on the extended motor shaft; the housing has two halves which are separable in the plane of the motor axis and which serve as the return yoke of the motor.A single permanent magnet is arranged in the space defined on two sides essentially by the motor rotor on the one hand and the worm gear on the other hand and each of the two housing halves serves as a pole plate.

  • Patent number: 4314692
Abstract: A motor vehicle hoist has a closed rope loop which is driven by a permanent magnet electric motor having a flat housing and a worm with a worm wheel. The worm is fastened to an end of the motor shaft which extends into an adjacent gear box, and turns a rope drum. The motor stator includes an axially oriented, magnetically nonconductive frame, which holds the rotor and at least one permanent magnet and which supports housing halves which serve, on both sides, as pole pieces. The worm wheel and rope drum are rotatably mounted on a common axis in the gear box. The motor is useful for opening windows, doors, and sliding roofs of vehicles.
