  • Patent number: 7871331
Abstract: An elastic joint member (10) with at least one set of loops (12) and at least two bushes (14), which extend transversely through the set of loops (12), collars (16), which are fastened to a respective bush end (22) in order to axially support the set of loops (12) on the relevant bush (14), and an elastomeric envelope (18), in which the set of loops (12) and the bushes (14) are embedded at least in part. Also according to the invention, the areas of the bushes (14) which are left free by the collars (16) and embedded in the envelope (18) are smooth, and the collars (16) are locked onto the associated bush (14) with a clearance which is such that the bush is rotatable within the collars, while these are connected in a fixed manner to the envelope (18).

  • Patent number: 5562545
Abstract: The axis of rotation of a disc body made of rubber-elastic material is surrounded by a plurality of mutually spaced bushings and loop sets consisting of string loops which are wrapped around the bushings in pairs. Supporting rings are slipped axially on the bushings to hold the loop sets together axially. The supporting rings each comprise an annular disc having teeth which project radially inwardly and anchor firmly on the corresponding bushing. In this manner the greatest possible space in axial direction of the bushings is saved for installation of the loop sets, at a given overall thickness of the flexible disc.

  • Patent number: 4680984
Abstract: A support (10) having fastening spots (12) for mounting at a shaft flange is enclosed by a flywheel (18) at a radial spacing and connected to the same by rubber-elastic spring elements (20) arranged circumferentially spaced from one another. The spring elements (20) are formed with rolling curves (22,24) between which rigid rolling bodies (32) are supported under radial bias. The rolling bodies (32) are inserted upon vulcanizing of the spring elements (20). The diameter of the rolling bodies influences the characteristic frequency of the torsional vibration damper and for this reason is so selected that the desired characteristic frequency will result. The rolling bodies (32) furthermore contribute substantially to prevent radial vibrations and tumbling of the flywheel (18).
