  • Patent number: 6902357
Abstract: A rotatable cutting tool having s support region (1) with an end surface (2) and a plurality of recesses (4) extending from the end surface (2) and in which, respectively, a plurality of cutting elements (5) are arranged, with each recess having a rigid stop surface (7) for a cutting element (5) and faces in a rotational direction (R) of the tool, and a gripping surface (8) facing in a direction opposite the tool rotational direction (R) and cooperating with the cutting element, with the gripping surface (8) being displaceable by a respective locking element in the direction opposite the tool rotational direction.

  • Patent number: 6824342
Abstract: A fastening element which is designed for driving-in a constructional component, includes a stem (11) adjoined, at it's opposite sides, by a load application section (13) and a tip (12) facing in the setting direction of the fastening element, and a prestress member (20) having a force-introducing section (21) engaging the stem (11) and/or the tip (12), and a bearing surface (22) remote from the load application section (13) and provided with an elastic layer (17) having an opening (18) a wall (19) of which is radially spaced from an axial projection of the stem (11).

  • Patent number: 4840527
Abstract: An expansion dowel assembly includes a sleeve-like support bearing incorporating load engagement surfaces, and annular disks displaceably held on the support bearing by a tension member for displacement between a radially inwardly displaced position and a radially outwardly displaced position. The annular disks are formed of a spring-like material. The tension member clamps the disks in the radially inwardly displaced position in the form of a hollow cone. When the clamping force on the disks is removed, because of their spring-like characteristic, they move into the radially outwardly displaced position flattened out from the hollow cone configuration. A load can be applied to the support bearing at the load engagement surfaces.
