  • Publication number: 20070158954
Abstract: Lock having a latch (1) which can be displaced between an open position and a closed position and is retained in the closed position by a catch (2), it being possible for the catch (2), by a release member (3) being pivoted about a pivot bearing, to be moved from a blocking position into a release position which allows the latch to be displaced into its open position, the release means (3) acting on the catch (2), and having a safety member (4) which can assume an active position, which allows displacement of the catch (2) by release member actuation, and a safety position, which allows the release member to be inoperative upon actuation, the changeover between the active position and the safety position of the safety member (4) taking place, in particular, by an electric motor such that with the release member (3) moved into the release position, upon changeover from the safety position into the active position, the catch (2) is moved into its release position, wherein a safety lever (5) which carries the sa

  • Publication number: 20050082842
Abstract: Motor-vehicle door lock (1) which can be actuated by means of an interior handle and an exterior handle, wherein the exterior handle acts on a trigger (15), actuation of which triggers a catch (9) to retain a rotary latch (10) in an unlocked position of the lock, and is inactive in a locked position and in a safeguarding position. The interior handle (30) acts on a transmission lever (14) which triggers the catch (9) in the unlocked position and the locked position, and is inactive in the safeguarding position. The transmission lever (14) has a switching member (26) wherein in the locked position, initial actuation of the interior handle (30) switches over the switching member (26) from the inoperative position into the operative position, and switches over the lock (1) into the unlocked position.

  • Publication number: 20040094971
Abstract: The invention relates to a lock with a latch (32), held in the closed position by means of a detent pawl (36). A tripping device (39) co-operates with the detent pawl (36) and with a safety element (43, 51, 54), which can adopt a working position, permitting a displacement of the detent pawl (36), by a tripping action and a safety position, permitting an idle operation of the tripping device on operation thereof, whereby on switching between the working and the safety position, with a tripping device (39) in the release position thereof, the detent pawl (36) is moved to the released position thereof. The pivot bearing (S) for the tripping device is non-active in the safety position in order to improve the force transmission and the control.
