    Abstract: A device for replacing or removing valve-spring retainer locks includes a shaft, in which a sleeve is elastically supported. At its free end, the sleeve has wedge-like gap tools for detaching the valve-spring retainer locks and for holding the locks within a space of the shaft. A pin is elastically supported within the sleeve and provides for centering of the valve-spring retainer locks during replacement or removal.
