  • Patent number: 9338160
Abstract: A method and system for a content provider to enable the consumption of content by properly entitled consumers (e.g., end-users, clients, customers) within a cloud provider network. A first certificate checkin service (CCS) executed by a processing device deployed in the cloud provider network receives a first set of usage data relating to content of a content provider consumed by a client of the cloud provider network. The first CCS provides the usage data to a communicatively coupled parent CCS. The first CCS provides the parent CCS with a request for entitlement data relating to the cloud provider, and stores the entitlement data received from the parent CCS. The entitlement data may be used by the first CCS to determine if the client is entitled to consume the content.

  • Patent number: 9055056
Abstract: Systems and methods for managing digital content entitlements in distributed computer systems. An example method may comprise: receiving, by a processor, a request comprising an identity certificate and a digital content identifier; validating an entitlement of a requestor identified by the identity certificate to consume, over an entitlement period of time, the digital content identified by the digital content identifier; determining that a pre-defined authorization period of time does not exceed the entitlement period of time; and transmitting, to the requestor, a response comprising at least one of: a status code and a content certificate authorizing to consume the digital content for the pre-defined authorization period of time.

  • Publication number: 20150052216
Abstract: Systems and methods for managing data reflecting digital content consumption by computer systems. An example method may comprise: receiving a plurality of digital content consumption data objects, each digital content consumption data object comprising a timestamp and an identifier of a digital content item being consumed by the computer system at the moment of time defined by the timestamp; storing the plurality of digital content consumption data objects in a memory; receiving a request for digital content consumption information for a specified period of time; and retrieving from the memory two or more digital content consumption data objects having timestamps within the specified period of time.

  • Patent number: 8201150
Abstract: A computer-implementable method, system and computer media are presented for calculating software test coverage of a Graphical User Interface (GUI). In one embodiment, the method includes the steps of: detecting an activation of a monitored active area in a GUI; recording the activation and a name of a user who activated the monitored active area; recording an order of any prior and subsequent activations of active areas in the GUI, wherein the prior and subsequent activations are performed prior to and subsequent to the activation of the monitored active area; recording any errors associated with the activation of the monitored active area; recording a total number of times that the monitored active area was activated during a pre-determined test period; and creating a report that describes test results for the monitored active area.

  • Publication number: 20090150868
Abstract: A method of capturing movie shots at the time of an automated Graphical User Interface (GUI) test failure. When an automated GUI test application performs an action during a test of a GUI, the GUI test application adds a text description of the action to a test log and captures a screenshot image of the GUI. The GUI test application adds the screenshot image to a rolling First-In-First-Out (FIFO) queue that includes up to a most recent N screenshot images, where N is a pre-defined configurable number. If an error occurs, the GUI test application captures a final failure point screenshot image. The GUI test application adds the final screenshot image to the rolling FIFO queue and the test log. The GUI test application assembles the screenshot images from the rolling FIFO queue into a chronologically animated movie file and attaches the movie file to the test log.

  • Publication number: 20080127247
Abstract: A method for playing advertisement media and alternate media is disclosed. The method includes selecting the alternate media for playing, recognizing a beginning of playing of the advertisement media, and in response to the beginning of playing of the advertisement media, automatically beginning playing of the alternate media. The playing of the advertisement media and the alternate media each include at least one of audio media and video media, and the playing of the alternate media occurs simultaneous to the playing of the advertisement media. The playing of the alternate media overlays the advertisement media, such that only a marginal portion of the advertisement media is made available.
