Abstract: A grill has a base that supports a grill body. A right and left lid are hingedly affixed to the grill body. The lids interconnect to ensure that they open and close together. A plurality of vents is defined by an upper surface of the lids. A shelf having a right portion, a left portion, and a rear portion substantially surrounds the grill body except for the operator position to the front of the grill body. The shelf and the right side of the grill body define a right retracting space. The shelf and the left side of the grill body define a left retracting space. The lids pivot outwards into the left and right retracting spaces to retracted positions wherein the uppermost portions of the lids and the uppermost surface of the grill body are substantially even with or below an upper surface of said shelf.

Abstract: A handle and light assembly for use on a barbecue grill. The assembly is inclusive of handle and at least one source of illumination for illuminating a cooking surface inside a hollow cooking chamber of the barbecue grill. The handle may function both as a means for opening a lid to access the cooking surface and also as a compartment for retaining the energy used to power the source of illumination. The lid includes at least one channel for the appropriate wiring to extend from the energy compartment to the illumination source. Accordingly, the handle may be located on the outside of the grill lid, and the source of illumination may be located inside the hollow cooking chamber.

Abstract: A barbecue grill is disclosed that includes a main grill body including a cooking chamber, the frame, and an improved shelf. The improved shelf includes a substantially planar portion and either a pair of tool hangers configured to receive barbecue instruments and tools and/or a hand pull. The tool hangers are attached to the substantially planar portion and project therefrom in a manner wherein the tool hangers oppose each other. The hand pull is configured to be accessed by a user from under the shelf, and maybe further configured to fit user's cupped and upwardly-turned hand. Additionally, the hand pull is preferably configured to be ergonomically shaped for a user's hand.

Abstract: An anti-loosening fastener comprises a head having an upper side and an underside. A shank extends from the middle of the underside of the head. A nut, a concentric counter-bored section and a gripping surface are formed in the upper side of the head. A plurality of protrusions are disposed radially along a perimeter of the underside of the head. A method of use is also provided.
