    Abstract: A drinking vessel is provided with a cup and a cap that can be on top of the cup to form a stemless assembly and beneath the cup to form a stemmed assembly. The cap has a stem that extends upwardly in the first assembly and downwardly in the second assembly. The stem includes a footprint with a sufficient diameter to support the second assembly in an upright position. A straw hole receives a straw in the first assembly of the drinking vessel.
