An image processing model generates a person count and dwell time. The image processing model receives the model input image data as an input. An engagement metric is generated based on the person count and the dwell time. The engagement metric is representative of engagement with the at least one engagement feature.

Abstract: Systems and methods for predicting fatigue crack growth are provided. In one example embodiment, a method can include obtaining historical operational data associated with one or more rotatable structures of one or more machines, obtaining data indicative of fatigue crack size for the one or more rotatable structures, and constructing a machine-learned model correlating fatigue crack growth with operational data using a machine learning technique.

The edible film can include a binder in an amount of at least about 30 percent by weight; a plasticizer in an amount of at least about 5 percent by weight; and an active agent, wherein the edible film is orally dissolvable. The edible film can also be used as a component of another oral product, e.g., a fleece-based pouched product. The edible film can form a coating on a portion of an interior or exterior surface of a fleece-based pouched product.

The reservoir can be formed of fibrous materials, such as cellulose acetate fiber, thermoplastic fiber, non-thermoplastic fiber, or a combination thereof. The disclosure further provides methods for forming electronic smoking articles and methods of packaging electronic smoking articles (including cartridges thereof) so as to improve moisture control of the reservoir.

Abstract: A filter element for use in a smoking article includes a filter material comprised of paper sheet having a crimped three-dimensional structure. Polyethylene glycol, triethyl citrate, or triacetin is interacted with the filter material to increase the selective removal of semi-volatile compounds from mainstream smoke being drawn through the filter element, over the filter material alone. An associated method of making a filter element for use in a smoking article is also provided.
