Abstract: Embodiments of systems and methods for classification and storage of acquired well data according to the invention are disclosed. In one embodiment of the invention a system for handling information generally includes, but is not limited to, a sensor associated with a well and a memory coupled to receive data from the sensor and store the data. The system also includes a processor programmed to read data identified as active from the memory and programmed to read other data from an electronic storage, where the memory is capable of being read at higher speed than the electronic storage.
