  • Patent number: 10107303
Abstract: A fluid cooled server may include a reservoir for a cooling fluid, a pump for circulating the cooling fluid between components within the server, one or more tubes for transporting the cooling fluid to a water block adjacent to a component to remove heat from the component. The cooling fluid may be transported from an outlet of the water block to an inlet of a radiator for progressively removing heat from the cooling fluid. The fluid may then be transported from an outlet of the radiator to an inlet of the reservoir. In some instances, the radiator may be sized to be included within a 1U server chassis and may include two or more cooling channels and may be dimensioned such that the radiator may have a heat exchange capacity of between about 300W to about 550W. A fan module may be sized to blow air through the radiator and/or the server chassis.

  • Patent number: 10050584
Abstract: A solar panel cooling system and apparatus. The cooling system includes a shroud that is coupleable to a back side of a solar panel. The shroud encloses a space on the back side of the solar panel and includes a nozzle for spraying cooling fluid onto the back side of the solar panel. The cooling fluid spray is contained within the space and is recirculated through a closed loop system to cool the cooling fluid before again being sprayed by the nozzle. Thermal energy absorbed by the solar panel is transferred to the cooling fluid to cool the solar panel. A backing element can be applied to the solar panel that aids transfer of thermal energy to the cooling fluid, directs the drainage flow of the cooling fluid, or comprises a thermo-electric generator to generate additional electrical energy from the system.

  • Publication number: 20180084679
Abstract: A system for cooling one or more computer processors is provided. The system includes a server chassis and one or more server nodes. The server chassis is selectively mountable to a server rack. The one or more server nodes each include a body, at least one of the one or more computer processors, and a refrigeration circuit. The body is selectively mountable to the server chassis. The at least one of the one or more computer processors is disposed on-board the body. The refrigeration circuit is for cooling the at least one computer processor and includes an evaporator and a compressor disposed on-board the body.

  • Publication number: 20160205808
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for cooling and/or heating a computer housing interior with at least one fan and a heat exchanger. The fan can be permanently attached to the computer housing and creates a fluid flow into or out of the housing. The heat exchanger is removably coupled to the fan by one or more clasps. The clasps are fixedly coupled to the fan and include an elastically deformable holding section that engages a recess on the heat exchanger to retain the heat exchanger in a form-fitting manner on the fan.
