  • Patent number: 10472871
Abstract: A window balance has a channel with two ends. A top guide is disposed at one end of the channel and a bottom guide is disposed at the other end of the channel. One end of a spring is fixed within the channel. A movable block is secured to the other end of the spring. Rollers are rotatably mounted in the movable block. A single roller is rotatably mounted to a fixed block which is secured to the channel. A cord exit roller is disposed proximate the bottom guide. The first end of a cord is fixed relative to the channel. The middle portion of the cord is routed about the rollers mounted in the movable block and mounted to the fixed block. A second end of the cord is routed around the cord exit roller and is attachable to a window jamb.

  • Publication number: 20090119874
Abstract: A snap-on terminal clip for installation onto the end of the spiral rod of a spiral rod window balance. The upper region of the terminal clip lockingly engages a locking pin secured to the external end of the spiral rod. The lower region of the clip terminates in a substantially hook shaped segment that engages the ledge of a window sash, thereby supporting the sash as it moves vertically through the jamb channel of the window assembly.

  • Patent number: 5224696
Abstract: A paper rotation table 15 for use in transporting sheets of paper between paper handling devices while performing a rotation upon each sheet through a predetermined arc so as to present to a receiving paper handling device a leading edge different than the leading edge which emerged from a delivering paper handling device. The paper rotation table 15 has sheet support surface 10, a paper drive 20, a pivot 30, and a registration edge 40. The paper drive 20 further has a drive belt 21, a plurality of primary drive balls 25, and a plurality of secondary drive balls 26, an entry drive ball 23, and a spin drive ball 37. Paper drive 20 may be at an angle "a" to registration edge 40.

  • Patent number: 5104117
Abstract: A apparatus for recurling, transporting, sorting and stacking individually fed sheets of paper received from devices such as printing or duplicating machinery. A recurler, comprising a plurality of recurleer belts, trained about a drive roller, a feed roller, and a forward roller, against which a recurler roller is urged, is provided for recurling all sheets entering the enclosure of the sorting apparatus. A conveyor belt assembly urges the sheets against the upper surfaces of a plurality of deflectors to convey the sheets through the enclosure. A lower surface of each deflector selectively deflects the sheets into designated receiving trays, or optionally allows the sheets to be expelled from the enclosure.

  • Patent number: 4890825
Abstract: The present invention comprises a paper sheet stacking and jogging apparatus for the semi-continuous stacking and jogging of individually fed sheets of paper from devices such as printing or duplicating machinery. A conveyor, comprising a pair of powered forward pinch rollers and a pair of powered rearward pinch rollers each having a plurality of driving tires, conveys the sheets within the apparatus. A beam strengthener, comprising two pairs of crowned and recessed tires, which are not driving tires, give the sheets beam strength as they are deposited to prevent jamming of the apparatus. A high-capacity, self-leveling tray assembly and elevating elevator receives the deposited sheets. A jogger selectively jogs the sheets which are deposited into the tray assembly into physically separated, distinct, aligned job stacks.
