    Abstract: There is disclosed a hinge apparatus for providing an integral doorstop. The hinge comprises two plates that pivot about a common pivot point. An elongate stop member is attached at one end to one of the plates and extends through and is movable in an opening defined by the other plate. A collar is selectively longitudinally movable on the stop member such that the plates can pivot between a first and second position but cannot pivot beyond a desired position. A method of providing a hinge with an integral doorstop is also disclosed.
