    Abstract: A tape repair device for reviewing and repairing audio and video cassettes having a housing with a tray for receiving cassettes and drive means for advancing or rewinding the tape within the cassette. A roller serves as a tape extractor and engages the tape and is actuable to move the tape to an extracted position away from the cassette convenient for effecting repairs. The unit may also include a tape splicer bar and auxiliary cleaning roller which engages the tape.
