    Abstract: An underground septic tank system is provided, along with a method of constructing the same, which includes a septic tank, drain lines in a trench with a gravel bed and a concrete block aerator column. The aerator column provides a standing supply of oxygen for the drain line and surrounding gravel bed to insure sufficent aerobic bacterial activity to keep the gravel bed unobstructed therethrough.
