Abstract: A method of doing business for the purpose of generating funds for a cell phone service provider by using a cell phone device with a locally stored multimedia content data bank. The present invention is a new business method of generating funds from registration fees and advertising revenue. In particular, the invention provides a system and method for generating revenue from classified advertisements using mobile and cellular phones by playing an advertisement stored in the cell phone to the user before placing the cell phone call. Advertisements may also be played at intervals during the phone call.

Abstract: An advertisement method using a telephone system including the steps of: initiating a call via a telephone; transmitting to telephone advertisements instead of placing the caller on hold to hear silence or ring back tones, before permitting voice mail instructions, and before permitting checking of voice mail; choosing an advertisement which appeals to the caller by pressing a key on the telephone; and transmitting to the telephone a confirmation text message to permit the caller to redeem a discount relating to the advertisement chosen by the caller. The method can use a mobile telephone system including the steps of: sending the initiated call to a cell tower; relaying the call to a service provider; checking a mobile identification number of the caller's telephone; and relaying the call to a computer server which attaches the advertisements for transmission to the caller's telephone.

Abstract: A female plug connector for receiving a standard jack has an outer sleeve having an annular edge at one end. On the interior of said sleeve are a locking surface of reduced diameter and a first and second containing surface of reduced diameter. The plug further has a tubular insert, slidably received in the outer sleeve, having at one end, longitudinally extending slits, forming slotted members to allow for radial expansion. The insert includes exterior protrusions of reduced diameter to be received in the annular groove of the jack, and an outer annular projection which bears against the locking surface of the outer sleeve when the plug is in the locked position. The tubular insert also has a first and second outer annular containing surface. The female plug connector further includes a first retaining means bearing against the first interior containing surface of the outer sleeve, and the first outer annular containing surface of the plug insert.
