Abstract: Organosilanes containing aliphatic double bonds and a process for preparing the same which comprises reacting an organic compound having more than one aliphatic double bond with a silane having an Si-bonded hydrogen atom and at least one hydrolyzable group and/or at least one group capable of being hydrolyzed more readily than the Si-bonded hydrogen atom in the presence of a catalyst which promotes the addition of Si-bonded hydrogen atoms to aliphatic double bonds.These organosilanes are used as reinforcing agents for compositions containing organic polymers which are crosslinked by means of sulfur or free radicals.

Abstract: A large capacity silo for flour-like bulk materials provided with a discharger having a body provided with an inside slanting wall and an annular bottom, a conical hood located above the bottom, broadening downwardly and provided with discharge openings each of which is provided with a shut-off device, a loosening device associated with each of the discharge openings, and a line supplying to the loosening up devices a quantity of pressure air corresponding to the maximum quantity of bulk material for the loosening up process which can be drawn off via the discharge openings, the opening of each shut-off device being designed for maximum discharge.

Abstract: A readily dryable adhesive binder for particulated rubber and/or plastics compositions comprising from 1% to 10% by weight of a water-solubleformaldehyde polycondensation resin, from 0.5% to 5% by weight of formaldehyde or a compound liberating formaldehyde, and from 85% to 98.5% by weight of a film-forming plastics dispersion; as well as a composition forming a resilient covering comprising from 40% to 75% by weight of particulated rubber and/or plastics and from 25% to 60% by weight of the above adhesive binder.
