  • Patent number: 7143681
Abstract: The invention relates to a firing direction system for adjusting a rocket launcher, and includes a drive motor (9) that is connected via a safety brake (2-8) with a drive shaft (1) for adjusting the rocket launcher, whereby a rotation of the drive shaft (1) in a first direction effects a raising of the rocket launcher, and a rotation in the opposite direction effects a lowering of the rocket launcher, whereby the safety brake prevents a back-driving torque of the rocket launcher from effecting a rotation of the drive shaft (1) in the opposite direction. In addition, an electric motor (11) is disposed on the drive shaft (1) and is controlled is such a way that upon a rotation of the drive shaft in the first direction, the electric motor effects an additional torque of the drive shaft (1) in the first direction, and upon rotation of the drive shaft in the opposite direction effects a recovery of energy.

  • Publication number: 20050123729
Abstract: A security document card and method for production thereof are disclosed, whereby the card comprises a support (10) and a coating (5), arranged on at least one side of the support. The material of the support comprises high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE). The material of the coating comprises polycarbonate. The support and the coating are joined by means of hot glue.

  • Patent number: 6539285
Abstract: The invention concerns a method and a device for process control of reaction processes using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. In accordance with the invention, an interferogram is generated before or after interaction with the compositions. Subsequent thereto, the interferogram is inspected in segments for externally introduced intensity fluctuations. The intensity fluctuations are subjected to an analysis procedure involving integration, differentiation, or the like, and on the basis of this evaluation, a decision is made as to whether or not the interferogram has an acceptable degree of interfering signals. The interferogram is labeled with this evaluation result and the procedure is repeated a plurality of times. After a sufficient number of acceptable interferograms have been collected, the acceptable interferograms are summed and subjected to a Fourier transform process to extract the frequency dependence.

  • Patent number: 6016440
Abstract: A device for infrared (IR) spectroscopic investigation of internal surfaces of a body, for example of blood vessels, comprising an endoscope (10) with light guide means to illuminate the surfaces is characterized in that at the distal end of the light guide means there is arranged a detector (12) for detecting IR light scattered from the illuminated surface and transforming it into electric signals. For otherwise identical conditions, compared to comparable known devices, the device according to the invention offers a higher signal strength and thereby the possibility to shorten the measuring time for equal signal quality.

  • Patent number: 5584374
Abstract: In this method for row-wise separation of rectilinear, plastic porous concrete bodies formed by longitudinal and transverse cutting of a rectilinear plastic porous concrete block preferably standing on edge. After turning back through 90.degree., the cut block is so placed with its major side surface on a plurality of parallel laminae for the separation and so that its longest side edge runs parallel to the direction of the laminae and that each row of porous concrete bodies is supported on at least one lamina. Before the separation, a clamping force is exerted from above on the upper ends of all the porous concrete bodies of the row to be separated. Independently thereof, a clamping force from above is exerted on the upper ends of all the porous concrete bodies of the stationary row in contact with the row to be separated.

  • Patent number: 5513945
Abstract: The apparatus for removing the waste layer arising in cutting porous concrete blocks comprises a beam (1) which extends above the porous concrete block in its longitudinal direction and can be raised and lowered, and at least two horizontal support frames (2, 2') mounted thereon and movable in height, which are arranged in pairs opposite one another to the two sides of a vertical central plane (M) of the beam (1) and beneath the same. A plurality of spikes (5, 5') which can be stuck into the waste layer are provided on the underside of each support frame (2, 2') and are aligned with their points facing down at an angle. All spikes (5) of the first support frame (2) of each frame pair (P) are parallel to one another and inclined at an acute angle (.mu.) to the longitudinal central plane (M) and all spikes (5') of the opposite second support frame (2') are parallel to one another and inclined at an opposite acute angle (.mu.l) to the longitudinal central plane (M).

  • Patent number: 4621555
Abstract: In the cutting apparatus for cutting a porous concrete block which is still in a plastic condition, the cutting table comprises a plurality of bars (5) which are disposed parallel and at a spacing from each other. The bars (5) are mounted horizontally displaceably perpendicularly to their longitudinal direction while provided between the bars (5) are spacer members (20) which restrict the movement of the bars relative to each other when they are pulled apart and pushed together, to the width of the cutting gap, such that the mutual spacing (S) of the bars (5) which are drawn apart prior to the cutting operation can be reduced by the width of the cutting gap after the cutting operation, by pushing the bars towards each other.
