  • Patent number: 8789398
Abstract: A security lock has a lock bolt that can be moved from an open position into a closed position and vice versa. A manually operated drive is provided to operate the lock bolt. Movement of the lock bolt is blocked in a blocked position by a bolt block. A gearing mechanism is arranged between the bolt block and an electric drive for moving the bolt block from a release position into a block position, and for blocking the bolt block against pivoting in the block position. The gearing mechanism ensures that, starting from a release position, the bolt block is first moved into a block position, and then the bolt block is blocked against pivoting in the opposite direction by continued running of the electric drive. The electric drive can be reversed to remove the block against the bolt block and to move the bolt block into the release position.

  • Publication number: 20120226380
Abstract: A device for storing and outputting objects includes a storage container, holders, an output shaft, and a controllable holding and releasing device. The holders comprise stationary insertion shafts, in which insertion tags connected to the objects are inserted. The insertion tags can be locked or released in the insertion shafts by the controllable holding and releasing device. Upon release, the insertion tags can be transferred independently from the insertion shafts into the output shaft under gravitational force and/or spring force.

  • Patent number: 8151609
Abstract: A lock cylinder consisting of a housing with a lock bit, an unlocking device and an actuation device is described. The unlocking device comprises a coupling arranged between the actuation device and the lock bit, which coupling is decoupled in the locked state and coupled in the unlocked state. The coupling can be electromagnetically or piezoelectrically actuated and the unlocking device is externally fed with energy contactlessly.

  • Publication number: 20080100418
Abstract: A device for identifying and storing objects having identification carriers has accommodation wells for the objects, combined with antennae of a reading unit. Each accommodation well has a protection device that is controlled by an evaluation- and control circuit of the reading unit. If, after reading and evaluating identification carrier data of the object, the device determines that the object is authorized, the protection device allows the object in the accommodation well or allows the object to remain in the accommodation well. If the object is not authorized, the protection device prevents the object from being accommodated in the accommodation well or prevents the object from remaining in the accommodation well.

  • Patent number: 5218343
Abstract: A read/write device includes a transmitter for producing an RF signal and a modulator coupled to said transmitter for modulating the RF signal and, finally a data receiver for receiving RF data signals from a portable microchip. The microchip includes a resonant circuit tuned to the RF frequency of the read/write transmitter and a receiver that is coupled to the resonant circuit for detecting the RF signal. There is also provided a charging capacitor capable of storing the electrical energy from the RF signal so that the microchip can be powered during pulse pauses of the RF signal. The microchip includes a memory circuit for storing the identification code of the microchip, and a code generator that is coupled to the memory circuit for generating an RF signal that is modulated with the identification data. A switching element that couples the resonant circuit to the code generator de-tunes the resonant circuit when the identification data is transmitted back to the read/write device.

  • Patent number: 4899132
Abstract: A motion sensor is provided having within a casing a resonant element with a magnet arranged therebeneath and a freely movable ball made from magnetizable material disposed there above. A change in the position of the ball causes a change in the density of the flow of the magnetic lines of force and as a result, a resonance voltage is produced in the resonant element thereby indicating motion. As the motion is detected by electronic means, high sensitivity is assured, and such sensitivity, furthermore, can be adjusted by simple means as required in a given case of application.
