  • Patent number: 4588999
Abstract: For the contacting and for the fixing of tubular piezoelements or, more particularly, piezotubes, in the recording head of an ink printer, a tube holder, first contact elements, a clamping part into which the tube holder can be snapped, and second contact elements are disclosed. The tube carrier has cut-outs corresponding to the form and position of the piezotubes, into which the first contact elements can be placed. The clamping part has openings, into which the second contact elements are inserted. After the tube carrier has been snapped into place, the first and second contact elements, being held in correct position, are soldered.

  • Patent number: 4584591
Abstract: For fastening and connecting tubular piezoelectric driving elements in the write heads of ink writing devices, contact clips are provided, arranged on a circuit board, and presented connector banks, into which the piezoelectric driving elements can be snapped. Several circuit boards can be plugged into a mother board. The mother board, equipped with circuit boards and connectors which are wave-soldered to the mother board constitute a piezo-tubular bundle.

  • Patent number: 4253103
Abstract: A removable ink supply container for automatic ink writing systems consisting of a housing member defining a well with an ink chamber located in the well. The ink chamber has a flexible top closure and a bottom discharge opening blocked by a pierceable seal. A pressure applying member is positioned above the flexible top for applying pressure to the ink. The housing is easily detachable from a writing carriage adjacent the writing head to supply ink to the writing head.

  • Patent number: 4124853
Abstract: A device for supplying ink to a mosaic printer unit having several printing ink jets provided in a printer head characterized by the device having a common distributor unit to supply ink to each of the printing ink jets attached on the printer head and having a cavity receiving the printing ink. To dampen hydraulic pressure fluctuations or vibrations in the ink received in the cavity, the cavity in the neighborhood of its highest point has an elastic wall member which may be either a diaphragm closing an opening in the cavity, or an elastic tube whose interior is in communication with the atmosphere.
