  • Patent number: 11065821
Abstract: A vibration welding device having a mechanically coupled multiple vibrator. Within this vibration welding device, the plurality of vibration units are arranged relative to an elongated tool such that the first direction of vibrations of the individual vibration units is oriented approximately transverse to a longitudinal axis of the tool such that, during a vibration welding process, two components are weldable to each other by vibrations different than a longitudinal direction of the components.

  • Publication number: 20070084539
Abstract: A quick change device for an oscillating tool that can be attached to the vibratory unit of a vibration welding machine. The quick change device comprises several clamp bodies, through which a vibratory plate of the vibratory unit and a tool plate of the tool are connected with each other in a force-fit manner. The clamp bodies are mounted in a movable manner on the machine frame or on the vibratory unit in order to be able to be displaced between clamping and opening positions for closing or opening the force-fit connection. According to a preferred embodiment, the actuating devices are made up of screws, which serve to both tighten and release the clamp bodies as well as to ensure the force-fit connection.

  • Patent number: 6059709
Abstract: The handles of bags, provided with legs, are cemented to both sides of the opening sides of the bags. The handles are U-shaped handles made of strip-shaped material. Parts of the handles are folded over onto the side walls of the bags and fastened with adhesive spots to the side walls of the bags or to the non-folded over segments of the legs. After the legs have been glued to the continuously conveyed bags, the handle parts are folded over onto the side walls of the bags around prerupture lines of the legs in the direction of transport. The handle parts are folded over by at least one fold-over rod extending at a right angle to the direction of transport.

  • Patent number: 5795419
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for adjusting the operating frequency of a vibratory welding system producing orbital motion comprising a workpiece socket head which is mounted to resilient means. The head is driven by electromagnetic means to produce orbital vibrations to be constricted to a vibratory plane for welding workpieces, in particular made of plastic material, wherein the frequency is varied within a predetermined range of frequencies to detect the geometrical configuration of the vibration, followed by selecting the frequency exhibiting the best possible vibratory configuration and defining the operating frequency to which the system will be adjusted.

  • Patent number: 5468336
Abstract: A flexural spring support for a vibratory apparatus comprises a substantially stationary first member, a second member disposed opposite and spaced from said first member and intended to undergo translating motion in a plane, and a plurality of elongated flexural springs coupling said members to one another. Each spring is provided at its ends with a respective flange, the underside of which is in forced engagement with the surface of the associated member. Adjustable fastening means cause the engagement pressure to be of such magnitude as to prevent relative motion between the flange and member surface when said first member undergoes motion, thereby substantially eliminating fretting corrosion previously manifest at the springs. In addition, each spring is configured to form a clamped clamped constant strain tapered beam.

  • Patent number: 5298007
Abstract: In a method for manufacturing carrier bags of paper with paper handles glued to the outside in a continuous working cycle, firstly, in a bag machine, carrier bags without handles are manufactured. Paper handles are glued to the carrier bags in a handle application unit. The carrier bags are fed from the bag machine with the bottoms leading to the handle application unit. After the handles have been glued to the bags, the bags are removed, again with the bottoms leading.
