    Abstract: A ventilation device provided which includes a valve arranged in a combined spring accumulator and operating brake cylinder. On depressurization of a pressure medium chamber in the spring accumulator brake cylinder, ventilation of a spring accumulator chamber of the spring accumulator brake cylinder, from the pressure medium chamber of the operating brake cylinder, is effected. A chambers is provided on the side of a valve piston in the valve, facing away from a control chamber, which, with an open valve, connects a first working connections to this chamber and, hence, to a second working connection, arranged axially on the front side of the valve, by means of a passage provided in the valve piston.

The spring-actuated diaphragm is connected to the push rod or to the pressure member or to the spring-actuated piston by means of vulcanization.

    Abstract: A screw and nut assembly comprises a screw having a hollow cavity extending longitudinally throughout, a nut configured to screw onto the screw, and an extension attached to the nut. The extension traverses the hollow cavity of the screw when the nut is placed on an end of the screw without being screwed on. The extension is displaced from the hollow cavity of the screw as the nut is screwed onto the screw. The status of the screw and nut connection may thus be determined from the screw side of the assembly, without observing the nut, by observing the extent to which the extension has emerged from the hollow cavity in the screw.
