Abstract: The switch unit (10) comprises an actuable button (11), which in a first region (12) is swivel-mounted on a frame (13) and in a second region (14) is directly or indirectly in operative connection with a switching element (15). The switching element (15) is suitable for triggering a switching signal when the button (11) is actuated, in that at least the part (26) of the switching element (15) triggering the switching signal is able to move by actuation of the button (11) along a straight axis (16) which is at an angle to a switching surface (17) of the switching element (15). The linear movement along the axis (16) has the effect of reducing the exposure to wear of the switch unit (10), which by virtue of its simple construction can be used universally for various button concepts.

Abstract: A built-in appliance for a motor vehicle, wherein the appliance is designed as a radio telephone, comprising an introduction orifice for a storage card arranged on a front side of the built-in appliance. The introduction orifice is capable of being closed by a cover which serves at the same time as an operating element. As a result, the available space on the front side is not reduced, as compared with conventional built-in appliances. At the same time, it is easy for a user to extract the storage card which, moreover, is protected against environmental influences by the cover.

Abstract: A built-in appliance for a motor vehicle car radio comprising an operating front that is connected releasably to the built-in appliance by a catch connection. The operating front is preferably designed as a switching rocker and thus, when an operating element of the operating front is actuated by pressing, makes it possible for the actuating force to be transmitted to a switching point arranged on the built-in appliance. There is therefore no need for electric contacting of the operating front, so that possible damage to the operating front is largely ruled out because electric contact points are dispensed with.
