  • Publication number: 20150284250
Abstract: A plant for preparing trisilylamine in the gas phase is provided. The plant includes a reactor (1) suitable for the reaction of at least the starting materials ammonia and monohalosilane in the gas phase; a precipitation vessel (2) downstream of the reactor (1); and a mixer (3) suitable for producing a homogeneous gas mixture containing at least the starting materials ammonia and monohalosilane upstream of the reactor (1). The mixer (3), reactor (1) and precipitation vessel (2) are connected to one another structurally in such a way that a continuous gas flow through the plant is ensured, with the gas flow optionally being able to be interrupted at one or more suitable points within the plant.

  • Patent number: 7786245
Abstract: A process for preparing a polyarylene ether ketone, comprising: a) reacting an aromatic dihalogen compound with a bisphenol and/or a halophenol in the presence of alkali metal carbonate and/or alkaline earth metal carbonate in a high-boiling aprotic solvent to give a polyarylene ether ketone, b) wet-comminuting the solidified reaction mixture in the presence of water, c) washing with an organic solvent, d) washing with water and e) drying the washed product, wherein the wet-comminuted reaction mixture is fed to the two-stage washing with a residual moisture content of at least 1% by weight, which process leads to distinctly reduced residual contents of salts and reaction solvents.

  • Patent number: 7557246
Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for production of (meth)acrylic acid, whereby first a crude (meth)acrylic acid is produced and this crude (meth)acrylic acid is then continuously purified, whereby the continuous purification of the crude (meth)acrylic acid comprises the following process steps: a) in a composition comprising (meth)acrylic acid and impurities, precipitating the impurities in crystalline form from the composition; and b) separating the crystalline impurities precipitated from the composition. The invention also relates to the (meth)acrylic acid obtainable by this process, a device for production of (meth)acrylic acid, the use of the device or of a purification device for production of (meth)acrylic acid, (meth)acrylic acid, water-absorbing polymers, the use of water-absorbing polymers as well as fibers, sheets, foams and composites.
