    Abstract: A method is provided for manufacturing interlocking parts, in which at least one part is manufactured by powder injection molding. To compensate for the amount of contraction of one of the parts manufactured by powder injection molding and, if desired, to produce an additional clearance, a separation layer of plastic material is applied between the interlocking parts. After the injection process to form the separation layer, the separation layer and the binder are removed by a binder-removing and sintering process step. The method is also applicable to powdered metal extrusion for manufacture of double-layered metal parts.

    Abstract: A carding machine includes a web delivering mechanism formed of a pair of cooperating rolls, for discharging a fiber web; and a web guiding element positioned immediately downstream of the roll pair as viewed in the direction of web advance. The web guiding element has an inner surface oriented towards the roll pair and is arranged transversely to the plane of the web for guiding and gathering the web. The web guiding element further has a web passage aperture through which the gathered web passes and leaves the web guiding element. A guiding body is positioned between the roll pair and the web guiding element in a zone of the aperture. The guiding body includes a supporting surface for supporting the gathered web prior to the passage thereof through the aperture.

    Abstract: The fixing element for fixing a mat to a floor part in a vehicle consists of a bottom part anchorable to the floor part to which the mat is to be secured and a top part having a clamping device and securable to the mat via the clamping device. The top part and the bottom part each have a disk-shaped flange with a coupling face. The coupling faces of the disk-shaped flanges face each other and have a plurality of identical coupling elements which cooperate by interlocking when the top part engages the bottom part. The coupling elements can be rows of pins having heads. The heads of the pins on the top part engage with those on the bottom part when the top part engages with the bottom part.

    Abstract: An anchoring means for anchoring by a bonding mass in a drilled hole in a concrete part or the like has a threaded bolt with a reduced portion and an expansion cone followed by a head part, forming at the same time a stop shoulder. Over the reduced portion and expansion cone is slipped an anchoring sleeve which is provided on its outer surface with a plurality of longitudinal grooves. By the longitudinal grooves and the elasticity of the anchoring sleeve consisting of plastics material, the possibility is obtained of compensating for the enlargement of the drilled hole when a crack forms, thus making it possible for the anchoring means to be used in the zone subject to tensile forces.

    Abstract: An expansible anchor for anchoring of an article to a component includes a shank having a portion of reduced cross-section at a front end, elements for fixing the article at a rear end, an adjoining expander cone at a rear end of the shank, and an expansible sleeve positioned over the shank portion of reduced cross-section and locking elements projecting beyond the diameter of the expansible sleeve. To allow the expander cone to enter the expansible sleeve for expansion of it even in the event the drilled hole becomes enlarged as a result of cracks being formed in its wall, the expansible sleeve is provided with a plurality of longitudinal slits so as to form expander arms. Each of the longitudinal slits extends over at least half the length of the expansible sleeve from a front end edge of the expansible sleeve and continues into an enlarged opening provided in the sleeve.
