  • Publication number: 20240075413
Abstract: A filter cartridge configured to be removably inserted into a space of a filter housing that has a housing socket and a housing cover with a sealing surface facing inwards. The filter cartridge has a filter element forming a fluid channel with a longitudinal axis, a front end, and a rear end, as well as a connector element with a peripheral surface that provides for an increased filter area, if the peripheral surface includes a first ring surface and a second ring surface (which are plain bearing surfaces) and if a gasket is movably supported in a first axial position on the first ring surface, thereby enabling a translation of the gasket in a first direction to a second axial position onto the second ring surface.

  • Patent number: 11596883
Abstract: A fluid filter comprises a housing, a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet, a filter element separating a raw side and a clean side from one another, and a valve unit. The valve unit comprises a valve plate arranged concentrically in the housing and having the shape of a circular ring disc, having valve openings and a flexible circular-ring-disc-shaped valve membrane arranged on the valve plate. The filter element comprises an axially protruding pressure-exerting ring shaped as a circumferential annular collar on the end face thereof facing the valve unit when installed. When installed in the housing, the filter element, with an end face of the pressure-exerting ring, presses the valve membrane axially onto the valve plate. The valve membrane, with the membrane region thereof pressed by the pressure-exerting ring onto the valve plate, forms a seal separating the raw side from the clean side of the fluid filter.

  • Patent number: 11491425
Abstract: A fluid filter is mountable on a connection flange having a central stand pipe and an exchangeable filter insert. The insert has a hollow cylindrical filter material body with two end plates on its end faces and is mountable on the stand pipe. A cup-shaped screw housing of the filter can be screwed to a free end of the stand pipe, and supports a seal on a free edge thereof, via which the screw housing is sealable against a connection flange sealing surface when mounted. The filter has a first arrangement on an end face area to center the end face area to the flange. The filter insert has a second arrangement on the end face area outer periphery for centering the screw housing free edge relative to the connection flange sealing surface. The second arrangement interacts in a centering manner with the screw housing free edge when installed.

  • Patent number: 11033842
Abstract: An exchangeable filter insert that separates an unfiltered side and a filtered side of a filter, the filter having a filter housing, an inlet for liquid to be filtered and an outlet for filtered liquid. A filter bypass valve has a valve seat and a valve body guided so as to be movable relative to the valve seat and preloaded in the closing direction. The valve seat is fixed to the filter. The valve body is guided in the filter so as to be fixed to the filter. A spring that preloads the valve body in the closing direction is guided in the filter so as to be fixed to the filter. The filter insert has a spring prestresser support that, in the state in which the insert is placed into the filter housing, supports and pre-stresses the spring at its end facing away from the valve body.

  • Patent number: 10539052
Abstract: A filter cartridge includes a filter element (forming a fluid channel with a first longitudinal axis) with a front side to which a front end cap is sealingly attached, a conduit (with rear and front ends) attached to the front end cap, and a through hole (in the front end cap) that provides a fluid communication between the channel and the conduit, to enable oil flow from the channel via the rear end of the conduit through the conduit to its front end. Pressure drop for a given oil flow rate is reduced if the conduit has a straight end section (defining a second longitudinal axis) in the vicinity of its front end. The second longitudinal axis intersects the first longitudinal axis at a single point to define a non-zero angle ? between the axes.
