  • Patent number: 10290420
Abstract: A coil unit for inductive transmission of energy includes a coil and a flux management unit to manage a magnetic flux during operation of the coil. The flux management unit is arranged behind the at least one coil, when viewed along a coil axis of the coil, and includes at least two flux management sectors and a channel between the flux management sectors. At least partially accommodating the coil and the flux management unit is a housing. A supporting element is arranged between a housing base and a housing lid and configured such that a projection of the supporting element along the coil axis is congruent with or lies within an extent of the flux management unit. A force acting on the housing lid can be diverted via the supporting element past the at least one coil and the at least two flux management sectors to the housing base.

  • Patent number: 9966776
Abstract: An electrical arrangement includes a high-voltage battery and a number of electrical utility arrangements connected to the battery via a main switch and a downstream back-up capacitor. A discharge circuit is connected to the capacitor and has a discharge path with an ohmic discharge resistor. In normal mode no current flows in the discharge resistor. Opening the main switch effects a transition from normal mode to special mode, while the discharge path is energized and electrical energy stored in the capacitor is converted into thermal energy by the discharge resistor. The discharge circuit has a voltage converter between the high-voltage side of the capacitor and the discharge path. The voltage converter has a first semiconductor switch for discharging the capacitor clock-controlled such that an electrical output voltage at the discharge path constantly has a rated value so long as a capacitor voltage at the capacitor is above the rated value.

  • Patent number: 8467161
Abstract: A device for controlling and regulating a DC voltage converter. The device may have one or more power output stages and a control unit with a signal ground line. The one or more power output stages and the control line have a mutual ground potential. A switch for electrically disconnecting the signal ground line is provided. The switch is opened, when the DC voltage converter is active and the switch is closed, when the DC voltage converter is inactive.
