  • Patent number: 10595244
Abstract: A radio base station periodically sends first datagrams about an availability of signal parameters measured on the radio base station to ascertain a signal quality of a radio link between a radio base station and at least one radio subscriber station, wherein the radio subscriber station, following initiation of an ascertainment of the signal quality of the radio link between the radio base station and the radio subscriber station and on reception of a first datagram, transmits a second datagram with a request for measurement of signal parameters to the radio base station, and upon reception of a second datagram, the radio base station and the radio subscriber station simultaneously perform captures of respective locally measured signal parameters of the radio link between the radio base station and the radio subscriber station.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: March 17, 2020
    Assignee: Siemens Aktiengesellschaft
    Inventors: Joerg Mueller, Wilhelm Busch

  • Patent number: 4922589
Abstract: The napping operation of a napping machine of the type having a rotating cylinder with a plurality of toothed rotating napping rollers at its periphery for napping engagement with a traveling fabric web is controlled for repeatable napping results by measuring the cyclical pattern of a radially inward deflection of the fabric web under the napping engagement of the rollers as a characteristic of an adjustment of a variable operating parameter which may be later utilized as a reference value for subsequent adjustment of the operating parameter to repeat the results of the napping operation.

  • Patent number: 4065837
Abstract: A velvet cutting machine includes, a cutting knife having a knife holder, a knife blade and a velvet point, the velvet point extending at one end of the cutting knife in the form of a needle connected successively to the knife blade and the knife holder, the knife holder being connected by a shaft of the machine to a knife-retaining arm of the machine which, in turn, is coupled by another shaft of the machine, that is subjected to a spring, biasing force in peripheral direction thereof, to a cutting head of the machine swingingly suspended on a support arm of the machine extending substantially parallel to the region of a traveling fabric web that is to be cut.
