  • Patent number: 7121774
Abstract: A clamping device has a hexagon receptacle for receiving hexagon bits inserted in an axial direction of the hexagon receptacle. A radially movable locking element is provided for engaging a locking recess of an inserted hexagon bit. The locking element has a rest position and projects in the rest position radially inwardly into the hexagon receptacle. A locking sleeve surrounds the hexagon receptacle in an initial position and has a cylindrical securing wall. The securing wall radially secures the locking element in the rest position. The locking element is axially moveable within the hexagon receptacle into a receiving position in which radial deflection of the locking element is enabled.

  • Patent number: 7048107
Abstract: A shaft locking device for a motor-driven, hand-guided work tool spindle has a driven member fixedly connected thereto, a freewheel with locking members, a ring fixedly connected to the housing and engaged by the locking members in both rotating directions, a drive member coaxially arranged to the spindle with unlocking members cooperating with locking members releasing when the driving member is engaged, thereby releasing the driven member from the ring. Drive member cams are spatially separated from unlocking members wherein they penetrate the locking member. Driven members have catch openings such that both drive and driven members also have torque-transmitting catch surfaces for a motor-driven action of the spindle so that the catch surfaces have a larger distance from one another in a neutral position of the drive member than between the unlocking members and the locking members.

  • Publication number: 20040106036
Abstract: A battery pack for an electric power tool has a protective housing and battery cells received in the protective housing. The protective housing has a first housing side provided with a receiving shoe for mechanical attachment to a free end of the power tool handle. The receiving shoe has electrical contacts for connecting to electrical lines of the drive motor of the power tool. The protective housing has a second housing side providing a support surface extending substantially in a direction of the longitudinal center axis of the tool housing. The battery cells in the protective housing are arranged in the longitudinal direction behind one another in at least one row. At least one of the battery cells is displaced laterally such that a displaced row portion is formed and the support surface has a widened support surface portion transversely to the longitudinal center axis of the tool housing.

  • Patent number: 4934827
Abstract: A manually guided electrical tool which is driven by a drive motor. The tool includes a device for metering and mixing at least two substances and for the feeding of the intermixed substances to a treatment place. The device includes: cartridges which contain the substances to be intermixed, receptacle pockets for receiving the cartridges, an extruding means associated with each cartridge for extruding the substances; a mixer for mixing the extruded substance which has an outlet through which the intermixed substances are fed, a feed duct connected to a each cartridge for transporting the extruded substances to the mixer, a gear unit driven by the drive motor, a drive element driven by the gear unit for activating the extruding means and the mixer; and a gear housing for housing the gear unit which is attached to the drive motor.

  • Patent number: 4265435
Abstract: A work bench includes a frame formed of interconnected longitudinal and transverse section beams defining a frame plane; and a vise formed of a stationary vise jaw and a movable vise jaw movable towards and away from the stationary vise jaw generally in a direction parallel to the transverse beams. The movable vise jaw is displaceably supported on the transverse beams by a spindle-and-guide arrangement. Each transverse beam has an open side oriented in a direction parallel to the frame plane and a leg part extending in the length dimension of the transverse beam and having wall faces arranged parallel to the frame plane. A guide member is affixed to the movable vise jaw adjacent each transverse beam. The guide member, which has a part traversed by the spindle, is provided with a groove-like recess extending in the length dimension of the respective transverse beam. The leg of the respective transverse beam extends into the groove-like recess in the respective transverse beam.
