  • Patent number: 9803702
Abstract: A hydraulic actuating device for a friction clutch and a gear setting element has a power unit for pressure generation by use of an electrically driven pump. Gear setting and clutch actuating sections are hydraulically connected to the power unit. A detenting device with a blocking element is associated with a piston of the clutch setting cylinder, which is operatively connected with the friction clutch and can be hydraulically loaded on opposite sides. The blocking element is resiliently biased into a blocking setting preventing piston movement and is movable by an actuator from the blocking setting into a release setting permitting piston movement. The pump is reversible in order to load the piston on one or the other side for an actuating movement. The control unit coordinates activation of the pump and actuator in order to disengage or engage the friction clutch.

  • Patent number: 9803705
Abstract: A hydraulic actuation device for a motor vehicle friction clutch has a manually actuatable master cylinder, that has a master pressure chamber which, in a rest position, is fluidically connected to a reservoir. The master cylinder is connected to a slave arrangement that is functionally connected to the motor vehicle friction clutch. A pressure line connects the master pressure chamber to the slave arrangement and in which incorporates an electrically actuatable valve arrangement with an electrically actuatable proportional valve and, connected in parallel, a first check valve which blocks in the direction of the master pressure chamber. A motor pump is connected, on the input side, to the reservoir and can be connected, on the output side, to the pressure line between the valve arrangement and the slave pressure chamber through a second check valve that blocks in the direction of the motor pump.

  • Publication number: 20170211693
Abstract: The invention relates to a hydraulic operating device for operating actuators in a motor vehicle transmission. At least two actuation cylinders each contain a cylinder housing. An actuation piston is guided therein along a cylinder axis in a longitudinally displaceable manner. Each actuation piston can be hydraulically loaded and is operatively connected to one of the actuators. The actuation cylinders are combined into a unit that can be flange-mounted on one side, via a flange face, to a dividing wall of transmission housing of the motor vehicle transmission. The cylinder housings are injection molded from plastic integrally with a flange plate that runs transversely to the cylinder axes, the flange face being formed on the flange plate. The cylinder housings protrude beyond the flange plate, at least on the side of the flange face, in the direction of the cylinder axes.

  • Patent number: 5850898
Abstract: A method and a device for the hydraulic actuation of a clutch operatively connected to a clutch receiver cylinder (6), especially for automobiles, are disclosed, in which, in a servo circuit (S), a servo pressure is generated, whichserves for the hydraulic governing of a clutch transmitter cylinder (2), in order to generate in a pressure circuit (D) a working pressure, which is applied to the clutch receiver cylinder (6), oris applied directly to the clutch receiver cylinder (6), in order to create there a force required for disengaging the clutch. According to the invention, the servo pressure for disengaging and engaging the clutch is adjusted in defined manner in the servo circuit (S), for which purpose the servo circuit (S) comprises a proportional valve (8, 8'). As a result, with technical equipment at low cost, an automated actuation with improved response and operational behaviour of the clutch is made possible.

  • Patent number: 5826953
Abstract: A braking system is disclosed that has a manually-actuatable master cylinder having two pressure chambers. A first pressure chamber hydraulically controls a flow control valve through which the pressure medium flows during servo-braking in order to adjust its regulating cross-section to produce a defined dynamic pressure that is applied to a first piston/cylinder arrangement, connected to the flow control valve, of a brake application element to produce a braking force. A second pressure chamber can be connected to a second piston of a brake application element so that a braking force can be applied to the brake application element if the servo-force fails. Also, instead of the second piston/cylinder arrangement, a separate separator piston/cylinder arrangement can be provided that is inserted between the second pressure chamber and the piston/cylinder arrangement. As a result, sufficient braking force is produced both in servo-force braking and if the servo-force fails.

  • Patent number: 5816668
Abstract: A valve apparatus for a non-muscular-energy-assisted brake circuit of a hydraulic brake system is disclosed. The apparatus has a restriction valve whose valve body in a controlled manner limits a restriction gap through which a hydraulic fluid is forced in non-muscular-energy-assisted braking operation in order to establish a defined dynamic pressure in a pressure chamber in which a valve plunger having a through-hole is provided. The dynamic pressure can be applied to a tensioner. If the non-muscular-energy assistance fails, the valve plunger can be closed to generate a residual braking pressure in the pressure chamber using the valve body when the through-hole is closed.

  • Patent number: 4836092
Abstract: A combined pneumatic and hydraulic pressure transducer is comprised of a pressure capsule with an open interior divided into first and second sections by a partition wall, and a respective axially displaceable diaphragm extends across each of the sections defining third and fourth pressure chambers which change in volume due to axial displacement of the respective diaphragms. A rigid piston intermediate member extends through the partition wall and joins the diaphragms to move together. Connections communicating between the third pressure chambers and between the fourth pressure chambers pass through the intermediate member. A respective hydraulic cylinder at each end of the pressure capsule receives and operates upon a respective end of the intermediate member.
