Abstract: Azolylmethylcycloalkanes of the formula I ##STR1## where A and B are identical or different and are each hydrogen, unsubstituted or halogen-substituted alkyl of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, naphthyl, hetaryl, biphenyl or phenyl, where the phenyl radical can be substituted by halogen, nitro, alkyl, alkoxy or haloalkyl, each of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, phenoxy or phenylsulfenyl, D and E are identical or different and are each hydrogen or halogen, Z is CH or N, m can be 1, 2, 3 or 4 and n can be 0, 1 or 2, their addition salts with acids and their metal complexes, and the preparation of these compounds, are described. The compounds are useful for treating disorders and for crop, wood and material protection.

Abstract: Azolylmethylcycloacetals of the formula I ##STR1## where R is phenyl which can be substituted by halogen, or is C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkyl, R.sup.1 is hydrogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 -alkyl, Z is CH or N, and m is 0 or 1, and their physiologically tolerated addition salts with acids and their preparation are described.The novel substances have an antimycotic action.

Abstract: Trans-3-(4'-tert.-Butylcyclohex-1'-yl)-2-methyl-1-dialkylaminopropanes of the formula I ##STR1## where R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are each alkyl and the sum of the carbon atoms in R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 is 5, 6, or 7, and their salts with physiologically tolerated acids, and their preparation, are described. The novel compounds are useful as active compounds for drugs.

Abstract: 2-Carbamic acid esters of 2,4-diamino-5-(3',4',5'-trimethoxybenzyl)-pyrimidine (trimethoprim), a process for their preparation, and drugs containing these compounds, which, as pro-drugs of trimethoprim, have valuable antibacterial properties and potentiate the antibacterial action of sulfonamides.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to new tertiary imidazolyl alcohols having the general formula (I) ##STR1## and to their pharmacologically acceptable acid addition salts with usual acids. The invention is further directed to a method for the treatment of generalized and local infections caused by fungi or yeasts by administering to a mammal suffering from such a disease a compound of the general formula (I) orally or externally in a suitable pharmaceutical preparation.

Abstract: 2-Acylamino-4-amino-5-benzylpyrimidines substituted in the phenyl ring of the benzyl radical, their production and their use as sulfonamide potentiators, as well as agents containing the same, are disclosed. The compounds 4-amino-2-formamido-5-(3,4,5-trimethoxybenzyl)-pyrimidine and 4-amino-2-acetamido-5-(3,4,5-trimethoxybenzyl)-pyrimidine are examples of the subject pyrimidines.

Abstract: The present invention is related to new imidazole derivatives having the general formula ##STR1## The invention is further related to a process for controlling fungi, yeasts and bacteria in humans and animals by administering orally or externally a compound of the above general formula to a human or animal suffering from such fungi, yeasts or bacteria.
