  • Patent number: 8128292
Abstract: A rotational bearing configured to support a first body for rotation relative to a second body about a rotational axis, one of the first or second bodies being a rotational body and the other being a support body, the rotational bearing comprising a plurality of carrier rollers. Each carrier roller is individually mounted to the first body for rotation about a respective carrier roller rotational axis extending therefrom. Each carrier roller is in rolling contact with the second body.

  • Patent number: 7837406
Abstract: A shrink disc unit including a rotating body with a peripheral outer surface and a hub surrounding the rotating body with a peripheral inner surface. The peripheral inner surface and the peripheral outer surface form a separating line between the rotating body and the hub at an angle to a rotational axis of the rotating body. A fluid channel leads through the rotating body or the hub for pressurization of the separating line with a pressure fluid. A fixing device, formed from one of the rotating body or the hub, alone or in combination with the other, may be used to fix a tool for the assembly or disassembly of the hub at a given angular position on the rotating body and/or the hub.

  • Publication number: 20090154991
Abstract: A clamping gap nut, comprising: an internal thread (2) about a longitudinal axis (A) of said clamping gap nut; at least two gap ends (3, 4) which face each other tangentially and between them form a gap (5); and at least one tensioning element (10; 10a) connected to each of said gap ends (3, 4), for exerting a force on said gap ends (3, 4) which causes a relative movement of said gap ends (3, 4) in a tangential direction, wherein said at least one tensioning element (10; 10a) is connected, angularly movable, to at least one of said gap ends (3, 4) via a joint which compensates for a change in direction of said force caused by said relative movement of said gap ends (3, 4).

  • Patent number: 7498683
Abstract: A device for converting flow energy of a fluid into electrical energy, said device comprising: h) a rotor (1) which can be driven by the fluid and comprises rotor shaft (2), i) an electric generator (16, 17) comprising a generator shaft (6), j) a gear system comprising a gear shaft (4; 4?) for transferring a rotational movement of the rotor shaft (2) to the generator shaft (6), k) a support structure (30), l) a carrier structure (20) which forms a rotor bearing (2a) for the rotor shaft (2), a gear bearing (4a; 60) for the gear shaft (4; 4?) and a generator bearing (6a) for the generator shaft (6); m) and an adjusting bearing (40; 75) which adjustably bears the carrier structure (20) relative to the support structure (30); n) wherein at least one of the gear shaft (4; 4?) and the generator shaft (6) is arranged lower than the adjusting bearing (40; 75).

  • Publication number: 20080138148
Abstract: A shrink disc unit comprising: a rotating body with a peripheral outer surface; a hub, surrounding the rotating body with a peripheral inner surface, which together with the peripheral outer surface form a separating line between the rotating body and the hub at an angle to a rotational axis of the rotating body in the longitudinal section of the shrink disc unit, whereby the hub may be shrunk onto the rotating body along the separating line, or is shrunk over the separating line; a fluid channel, leading through the rotating body or the hub, for pressurisation of the separating line with a pressure fluid; and a fixing device, formed from one of the rotating body or the hub, alone or in combination with the other and by means of which a tool for the assembly or disassembly of the hub may be either supported on the rotating body or the hub and which may be fixed at a given angular position on the rotating body and/or the hub.
