Publication number: 20110054653Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method to machine a “to-be” body out of a raw part having at least one functional surface needing an allowance, whereas the method incorporates a “to-be” body, with the following process steps: Capture the geometry of the raw body and its local position within a tooling machine and determine a virtual “as-is” body; Make provision of a virtual allowance onto the virtual “to-be” body; Virtually merge the virtual “as-is” body with the virtual “to-be” body; and Calculate a virtual intersection of the virtual “as-is” body and the virtual “to-be” body and vary the relative position to each other such that the virtual intersection becomes a maximum.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 1, 2009Publication date: March 3, 2011Inventor: Wilhelm Lange

Patent number: 7861983Abstract: The invention relates to a cold-insulated fixed-point pipe support for a low-temperature pipeline which includes an insulating system arranged between an outer shell and a supportable low-temperature pipeline having solid thermal insulating material which thermally insulates the pipeline from the low-temperature environment. A rotation-preventing and displacement-preventing device prevents rotation and displacement of the thermal insulating material with respect to the pipeline and an outer shell. A fixed-point pipe support is adapted to be fitted and removed in a substantially radial direction over the pipeline, and has at least one division with respect to shape with a division plane thereof extending perpendicular to a cross-sectional plane, and having a connecting device for releasable connecting and fixing shaped parts formed by the division.Type: GrantFiled: March 22, 2006Date of Patent: January 4, 2011Assignee: Lisega AktiengesellschaftInventors: Heinz-Wilhelm Lange, Ashley Challenor

Patent number: 5501317Abstract: An apparatus for receiving ferromagnetic container lids from a first processing unit and for advancing the lids to a second processing unit includes a storage track having first and second magnet assemblies extending parallel to the length dimension of the storage track. The magnet assemblies have a clearance from one another corresponding to an expected outer diameter of the lids for accommodating the lids in the clearance in an orientation in which the lid plane is perpendicular to the length dimension of the storage track. The lids are adapted to be suspended in the clearance by magnetic forces generated by the first and second magnet assemblies. First and second abutments are provided at opposite ends of the storage track and can be abutted by outermost lids suspended in the clearance. A supply conveyor extends to the storage track for introducing the lids in a vertical direction into the storage track; and a removal conveyor extends from the storage track for removing a lid therefrom.Type: GrantFiled: May 9, 1994Date of Patent: March 26, 1996Assignee: Krupp Maschinentechnik Gesellschaft mit beschra/ nkter HaftungInventors: Walter Sommer, Wilhelm Lange, Klaus-Peter Dirks

Patent number: 4118986Abstract: A temperature measurement device for rotary kilns comprises a stripping sleeve rigidly mounted in a bore or the shell of a rotary kiln and has one end portion extending into the rotary kiln. A ceramic ring is mounted at the one end portion of the sleeve and a protective tube is slidably mounted in the stripping sleeve and through the opening in the ceramic ring. A thermocouple is disposed in the protective tube at one end portion thereof that corresponds to the one end portion of the stripping sleeve. The protective tube is lifted to retract its one end portion until the end thereof is disposed in the ceramic ring thereby scraping off any crust thereon and the tube is then lowered to such an extent that the one end portion thereof protrudes from the ceramic ring so that temperature measurement can be effected.Type: GrantFiled: June 8, 1977Date of Patent: October 10, 1978Assignee: Metallgesellschaft AktiengesellschaftInventors: Dietrich Werner, Konrad Schymura, Hans Georgi, Walter Pech, Wilhelm Lange
